Haircult

I travel from Woking in Surrey to Brighton about 4 times a year to go and see Tom and Antonio. They are both fab and i would not let any one else colour or cut my hair. Tom as cut my hair for the past 6 years and i have followed him from Guildford to Brighton.
We all have our own opinions on hair styles etc but to read some of the reviews on here is shocking as over this time i have not once been unhappy with my hair. Infact it is always fab and Tom listens to exactly what i want and if i say that i want to try something new he will do and does a great job.

The boys are great and i look forward to seeing them again soon!

I didnt feel like I was being listened to, this resulted in me not getting the style I wanted. I dont like my hair cut and now I am going to have to go somewhere else to get it sorted. Also pretty expensive, it really should always been good for the money.

After looking for a new place to get my hair cut I saw that haircult were offering a discount for the first time someone goes there. This persuaded me to give it a go (big mistake) at first it looked relatively professional – However I was then introduced to the bloke cutting my hair who started by saying “do you want the same cut as last time” .... to which my reply was obviously that I hadn't been there before. He then asks me what cut I want to which I say that I only want a trim and to keep the length generally the same (I had medium to longish hair length). These instructions obviously fell on deaf ears as he proceeded to give me a short back and sides resulting in me looking like I belonged in the gestapo! Now I should note that some of the blame should probably be placed on me as I didn't specify exactly how much I wanted taking off (I won't make that mistake in future) but by no means did he keep it generally the same length and neither did he explain how short he intended to cut it. Now I wouldn't have minded so much if the actual cut wasn't so bad but it was absolutely terrible and completely misshaped! Please do yourself a favour and don't go to this place, there is a reason why they are pushing hard on discounts!!!

I have been seeing Tom at Hair Cult for about 2 years now!!  I would frankly not go anywhere else any more!!

He always listens to exactly what I want doing and I have never once walked out dissapointed.  I always get comments about the brilliant cut of my hair and I reccomend him to everyone.

On top of that you get the best wash ever!!! Sooo relaxing.  It's overall a brilliant place to go and get your hair done!!!

To Start with, i thought my experience here would be an amazing one.The appearance of the salon is excellent, so naturally, i thought my experience would be a good one. When i actually got my haircut, my hair looked EXACTLY the same as before i cut it, even though i had paid for a very intricate cut. As for the price, it definitely is not worth it and it is a complete RIP OFF. I am sure i could have gotten a MUCH better hairstyle somewhere with the same amount, or even less money. Overall, my experience at Haircult was WORST I ever had, and the standards there are very low. The staff can appear very rude at some points, especially when you try to correct them or tell them you don’t like something about their cut.I have now had to book another appointment at a different salon as my hair looks as though I have let a small child cut it. I was very surprised as both the appearance and prices charged by the salon suggest a high level of competence- which unfortunately I found to be very much lacking! Trust me, you will be wasting time AND money coming here, and i definitely DO NOT recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good quality, affordable haircut.

Tom has cut my hair for well over a year now and always does a fabulous job. First time I have ever found someone who cuts it the same way on more than one occasion! Very well priced too. Would highly recommend

I had my hair cut here several months ago when I lived in town. I was extremely happy with the outcome & advice too. I felt that Tom knew exactly what he was doing and just wanted to leave let others know. It was an enjoyable experience and well worth it. I have since moved but plan to make an appointment when I’m next in the area.

Well worth a visit. Tom has cut my hair twice at haircult and he does a fantastic job. 100% knows what he is doing – unlike some more expensive establishments!

I have had two different cuts by Tom (through my choice) both times the cuts have been done to suit my head shape and hair pattern etc

After each visit I have had friends ask where I had it done! – In the good way “your hair looks good, who cut it?” not the “woah, did you cut it yourself/was he blind?”

I have tried several other salon type shops and they all seem poor by comparison…
Also it is worth having a more expensive cut done rather than a simple barbers cut when it is done well! But you get what you pay for I guess!

Tom cut my hair brilliantly and really took care to ask me exactly what I was after. These guys are from a fashion background and just won an award as best hairdressers in the South East by L’Oreal! Top chaps and great service, I would really recommend them!

I spent years trying to find a decent hairdresser in Brighton (no offence) and finally succeeded with Haricult. What a relief. I can't recommend Tom highly enough.

I have had my hair cut here many times always a great cut,really friendly and they know their craft.

I’m quite particular about my hair and although there is no shortage of hair salons in Brighton, it has taken me awhile to find a place, braving the streets with a near mullet--eek. I decided to pop into Haircult on a weekend after reading about them in The Source. They were fully booked that day yet were so attentive and accommodating, I found myself really looking forward to my appointment. Tom looked at the picture I brought in for reference, we had a nice chat during the consultation and off we went. I felt totally at ease and after a mind melting shampoo and head massage (best ever!), I knew I was in the hands of a pro. I love my cut! I have tons of hair and thus, have worn it fairly short forever but I cannot remember the last time someone gave me a haircut simply with scissors. No razoring, no flat-ironing, no shortcuts, just a fabulous cut. I cannot recommend this salon highly enough. Though I didn’t get any color done, I would do so in the future based on the consultation I had after my cut. They are totally professional; seasoned, passionate about their craft, and completely honest--you will not leave Haircult looking and feeling less than fabulous!
