real original. food is amazing (many times better than itsu). wont mention all the outstanding original japanese dishes and platters. service is like you rarely get it these days. japanese owned, operated and staffed - not a temp waiters as with so many other places. authentic japanese service - super friendly and makes you feel appreciated as a guest. our favourite japanese - much prefer to the new and more stylish openings in the neighborhood.

food was really bad, had this weird fragrance taste in my rice (katsu don), kind of like perfume or deodorant.
We refused to pay for the service charge because the service was really bad. Asked for water for 'we' but only one came. They took everything away before we finish our food. Got told that we are not allowed to go back because we didn't want to pay for service charge. They didn't care about why we didn't want to pay, and told that we were disgusting.

In short, a fake Japanese restaurant opened by Chinese to scum money off tourists. Will not go back, ever!

I was not expecting much from this little Japanese spot so close to South Ken tube station but I was pleasantly surprised. The Sushi is fresh and neatly presented and not bad for the price; 6 California maki rolls for £3.80, a portion of 5 pork gyoza for £4. The staff are friendly and efficient and I would definitely pop back as I find South Kensington a little lacking in the good (affordable) food options department. So if you have an itch for Sushi and are going to the museums, ice rink or a show at the Royal Albert this is a pretty decent spot to visit.
