I didn’t really like this shop. Not really for me. The clothes are not that great quality. I would rather save up for a designer piece of clothing and know that it would last. It is good though if you need something on a budget. It is ok though and I would shop there if I needed to.

I’m not usually a fan of Primark, but the Darlington store is impressive. Darlington is an average-sized town, yet its Primark store is one of the biggest I’ve seen, and it stocks a lot of items that I’ve only previously seen in the Oxford St, London store, such as its skincare ranges.
The Primark store is now located in the Cornmill shopping centre, on the site of what once was, the C & A store, after moving from a location on the outskirts of town a few years ago. The Primark in Darlington is the first I’d ever heard of, a lot of years ago now, and before it ever became fashionable.
The windows of the store always look inviting, with lots of models, male and female, young and old, sporting Primark’s newest clothing ranges and accessories. At the entrance to the store there’s usually a couple of sales racks, which does make the store look a bit cheap, in my opinion, but the rest of the store is well looked after, with tidy racks and rails and no clothes/hangers cluttering up the floors. This store has an extensive underwear and nightwear section on the ground floor as well. Upstairs, the menswear, childrenswear and Homeware are all squeezed on to one floor, so their ranges aren’t quite as impressive as the women’s, but there’s still a decent level of stock, and it’s all clean and tidy there too.
This Primark does have a good selection of products that other Primarks I’ve visited don’t have - the aforementioned 'smellies’ and a gift section, with make-up sets and Christmas crackers.

This is a brilliant shop since it moved into the cornmill. In the old place it was cramped and i used to pull everything off the racks with the pushchair but now the store is huge and theres lots of space between the racks. There is a lot more choice now as well and has a homewares department which has nice affordable things in.The queues on a weekend are usually big but there is always have a lot of staff on which makes the queues go down quickly.I have noticed that they now have a few christmas decorations and orniments in which is good as primark is always affordable.

Primark, a value for money store where the young and the very young can afford to kit themselves out in the latest fashions without paying for expensive labels. Well set out with wide corridors to wander through it looks a thousand times better than its original store in town, spread over two floors with changing rooms and plenty of pay points it makes shopping there a pleasure rather than a chore, The only thing missing is a range of xxs trousers for those of us men whose legs tend to be on the short side. We need a 27” leg with better choice in colours than black or grey.

Whilst most people agree that the Primark in Darlington is one of the biggest of their branches it does like everything have plus and minus points. I don’t know if it’s because of the size of girls around here but they never seem to have many of the larges sizes in stock. However the new make up and bath range at £1 a go is amazing value and I always find some kind of accessory I like! The homewares are worth a look too an my Mother swears by the fleece throw she bought a few weeks ago, great for keeping the winter chill off.

The store in Darlington is a good one to go to, compared to other Primarks they avoid the jumble sale look and there is always a good range of sizes out on the shelves. Sometimes lines are long, but it never takes as long as you expect to be served. Sells very cheap ladies, mens and kids clothes. Also check out the undies and nightwear for all. A fraction of the price you would pay elsewhere. The homeware is up the escalator and you can get bedding, towels, cushions etc. at very low prices.
Be aware if you need to take anything back don’t just go to the checkout go straight to customer service, which always has a long line!

Primark in Darlington has been recently moved and I think to a much better location! The store they have in the cornmill shopping centre is HUGE! It caters for women, children, men and even housing furnishings, towels and bedding. Even when the line is long in this Primark it never takes long to get to the check out because they always have lots of staff at hand to speed things up. They are always changing stock so there is something new every time you go. It is at the centre of Darlington shopping now which is much better than where it used to be. Primark is the best!

For a town Darlington’s size our Primark is impressive. Compared to the one in Middlesbrough, the Darlington store is well organised, tidy and easy to shop in.
As well as clothes, nightwear, shoes and underwear and accessories then the homeware is unbeatable. Cushions, candles, throws etc are a fraction of the price at other chains.
Long live Primark!

I live near Darllington and used to travel to the Metro Centre Primark but now go to this one.
Its always lovely and tidy and they usually have the latest stock in, in most sizes, even the more popular shoe and clothing sizes.
The staff are quite friendly too (even the security guard was letting my little boy have a look on the security monitors near the door!).
They always seem to nbe putting new stock out when i go in as well, which is a bonus :)
