After spending 200 pounds on a party of 10 last week, this week i tried to order a takeaway and upon asking what lamb dishes they did, was told by the guy on the phone "well can you come in and get a menu - we are actually quite busy". Well the food can't make up for bad service, and I couldn't even get as far as making an order. I wont be using them again.

Having read other reviews I was disappointed with my dining experience at Reema. Although the starters were interesting (I had stuffed aubergine) when the main courses eventually arrived after a considerable delay (with no apology) the side dish of tarka daal had gone almost cold (and had developed a thick skin on top, as though it had been sat on th eside for some time in the kitchen) and the accompanyments to the mixed grill were non-existent (there was not even any salad served with it). Add to this that the waiters did not ask us if everything was OK with our meal (as I have come to expect when eatting out) and that when when we came to pay the waiters were very unattentive this was not a dining experience I would repeat. Other reviews claim this is best Indian in Darlington, and as I have not been to another Indian in Darlington I cannot dispute this, however this was the most disappointing Indian restaurant I have been to, and one of the more expensive. It is worth noting however that the garlic nan bread was delicious.

Reema is the best Indian restaurant in Darlington, and probably the best I have ever eaten in. It offers an excellent choice of foods and is ideal for small and large parties alike. It is not overly priced as the food is always really tasty and freshly prepared.
The service is also excellent and the staff go out of their way to please you. The decor of the restaurant is stylish and modern.

Probably the best curry houses in Darlington. The food is of an excellent standard, as is the service. It is resonably priced, particularly for the quality you get.
The location is excellent, right near some of the nicer bars in Darlington. I recommend the Rogan Josh!

Reema has to serve up one of the best curries you will ever eat. The food is always fantastic and service is always good. Centrally located meaning it is always popular, but you can usually be squeezed in at any time, whether it is a for a romantic meal for 2 a boozy after drink s curry with friends. The Chicken Jalfrezi is a must!

A lovely little Indian restaurant serving amazing food. Wonderful staff who always look after you superbly well. Nothing it seems is too much trouble for them.
The food here is always of a very high standard and prices are reasonable. They also do an excellent take away service and will deliver to your home at no extra charge if you live within darlington.
