This excellent Indian restaurant has fantastic food, nice decoration and a great atmosphere. It is pretty pricey but certainly worth it if you're looking for excellent food in a smart environment.

People are often funny about Indian food as does anybody actually know what the hell is in it!!! Well I certainly don’t care as trust me that doesn’t stop me having my regular Indian that I have on a Sunday night consisting of a couple of onion bargees and a hot vegetarian curry. Chutney Mary is hugely different and it does stand out form the rest, with its stunning romantic interiors mixed in with seductive lighting and beautiful full of flavour real Indian food. The presentation of the food is fantastic it is like art work that you don’t want to touch but then the smell of it…well I couldn’t resist. It’s very modern and sophisticated and if I went on a date I would have to show of this place as it is truly luxiourous. It actually received the prestigious London Restaurant Award as the Indian Restaurant of the Year, and the authoritative Square Meal Guide has rated it as the Best Modern Indian Restaurant in London in 2003, and 2004. I always book on line when I go as it does get busy but it’s such a fast and easy process I would recommend it. It is quite expensive but it is worth it!!

Great upmarket Indian restaurant concentrating on sophistication & creativity rather than simplicity and authenticity. Refurbed a few years ago, the dining space is a touch glamorous but a great setting for a special night out. There's a tasting menu too if you want to try the venue's reportoire.
