Agree with vanessals. lazy Sunday coffee on the loungers, read the papers by the piano inside or casual but great cuisine dining inside or on the deck. Actually a great place for lunch where the fixed price menus are superb value (under 30CHF). Good fish and Thai dishes. You can park in their small carpark and buy a exit jeton (token) when you pay the bill.

No other location in Zurich is located as beautiful as the Seereose is: built directly on the lake, you get the panoramic view over the waves (ok only tiny little waves) as an added value to your exquisite site meal. The well sorted list of beverages speaks for itself.
But service tends to be slow, no matter if it’s winter time or summer time.
