Hotel Renoir

This report is based on a trip back in 2002

Small little hotel in the heart of paris. Located in a narrow street with loads of restaurants, bars and creperies - but it's calm. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and the staff is friendly.

Breakfast will be offered for additional costs. It's worth taking it, especially on sundays and holidays where most of the "public"-breakfast places are closed. Breakfast is well portioned compared to standard french breakfast.

Public parking is a mess - but there are at least two public car-parks within 2-3 minutes to walk. Public transport is just round the corner.

Restaurants and bars are also within seconds to minutes and a grocery is just on the opposite.

Summery: Overall i can recommend this nice little hotel.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the Montparnasse area of Paris. But the rooms were very small. The toilet flush didn't seem to be working too well. The breakfast consisted of hard rolls, croissants and yoghurt and sometimes one or the other would be missing. The hotel is generally clean, the staff tepid in their reception.
