Hand made fresh cosmetics which are not tested on animals. They invent and produce unusual products.

The lush aromas waft down the street and greet you before you even see the shop. I simply adore the angels on bare skin face scrub. They make gorgeous presents.

Like many people, I adore Lush. I even love the fact that it's so smelly you can sniff out its wares from the end of the street. To me, that only adds to its charms.

Of course, this could be down to the fact that for ridiculously eczema riddled people such as my good self, Lush is an absolute godsend. Filled to the brim with interesting smelling hypoallergenic goodies, it's the place to head to if you're got ridiculously sensitive skin, but are looking to indulge in a bit of pampering. I'm a massive fan of their wonderfully named bath bombs, and their 'Dream Cream' is genuinely one of the best products I've ever used on my skin. Take my word for it - one dab of this stuff is guaranteed to make your face as smooth as the proverbial baby's bottom!

Another great thing about Lush is the helpfulness of their staff - they really do go the extra mile to ensure that you leave the store with a huge smile on your face, plenty of lovely samples, and the right product for you. And whilst you may have to pay that little bit extra for your face mask, it's always guaranteed to be better than any run of the mill gloop you can get from Superdrug. Plus, they're always sure to leave you smelling good enough to eat (or, at the very least, a damn good lick!)

I couldn't have put it better MissCay.... I looove Lush... I lavish myself with their products every month without fail... no lie.. At the moment I'm in love with Big shampoo... it leaves me feeling like i've just come back from a dip at my local beach/sea... not covered in sand!!! haha... just feeling refreshed and alive...

I order online and I always get a sample of something new to try.... A big thumbs up from me....

You can smell Lush from roughly thirty-six miles away. You could be innocently walking around and suddenly... "What's that overpowering smell of cleanliness?"

Chances are, it's Lush.

Lush sells nice smelling stuff (although, with so many smelly things in one place, the shop itself feels more like an epicentre which you have to fight toward as opposed to gaily float into like Bisto kids) and it's all very ethical.

Because Lush don't test on animals and that they are environmentally sound, this makes this shop the Noughties equivalent to The Body Shop.

So imagine soaps, oils, gift boxes and the like, all tarted up in a hokey way but, it has to be said, in a reasonable price bracket.

As a bloke, shops like this make be scoff and jibe... but if you're the kind of person who likes to pamper themselves without the weight of guilt, then really, this is a must visit place.

There’s so much to say about Lush. They don’t test their products on animals, nor do their suppliers. They’re environmentally aware and strive to have a ‘green helper’ in each store. They recycle, they support charities and well they’re just very nice people. But that’s not really why I shop there. It’s because their products are just so damn good.

Who can resist chocolate scented soaps, vanilla massage bars and body butters made from cocoa butter, shea butter and almond oil? And they don’t take themselves too seriously. With names like ‘Mmm Melting Marshmallow Moment’ and ‘You’ve been Mangoed’, everything’s fun and lighthearted.

Lush has a whole section dedicated to gifts where a selection of goodies are boxed neatly, wrapped and decorated with ribbon. Of course you can’t keep them a secret for long as anyone who’s bought from there will tell you. The fragrances are a dead giveaway.

The best thing about Lush is that it’s not too expensive. Soaps are just a few quid and you can buy a box of goodies for under a tenner. So you can treat yourself even if you’re a bit strapped for cash.

The staff are friendly and helpful and don't mind you being in there for hours while you make your mind up what your going to buy, as there is that much to choose from. You really can't go wrtong buying in here wether it be for yourself or a present for someone else

Lush is the best selling shop on the high street! It sells all manner of ethical and environmentally friendly pampering goods from home made soaps to bath bombs to shampoos. It has something for everyone and the prices are reasonable for what you get - I'd say more of a treat than a daily use though.

They do gift sets so it makes a lovely present and even if you have sensitive skin like I do you should be OK with the goods at Lush as all the ingredients are listed on the wrapper.

If you like a bit of pampering why not treat yourself!

I love the products in here and enjoy the odd freebie and explanations from staff on how to use the products. I do sometimes feel I get trapped by the staff anmd its a full on sales pitch- the products can only do you good tho so no real harm done!

This is a great place to treat yourself or to get presents. It smells quite strongly though, therefore my fiance won’t normally come in with me! Reasonable prices seeing as the products are natural.

What is it about this place that draws so many fans? The smell, it greets you from half a mile away, a mixture of sweets and herbs. the stock is fabulous and the products even better. ethically sourced and handmade. You can buy online from them too. there is a fragrance for every type of person and the skincare is a real godsend for people with sensitive skin. no animal testing here. super helpful staff

Lush is a shop with a fantastic choice of bath and Beauty products. The multiple smells envelope you before you walk through the door.

The shop tends to be quite cluttered do the amount of displays on show, couple this with the number of people in the shop on a busy day and it’s difficult to get around.

The Staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

Prices are very reasonable, the only problem is that you end up spending far too much money.

lush is a shop that you can smell waaaay before you see it. Being in there for too long gives me headache. But the products they sell are 100% natural, handmade and have really cute names. They do smell pretty good (individually) and they cater for all skin types so whether you’re sensitive, oily or dry lush will have a product to sort it out. They do nice gift sets too and the bath fizzers can be very entertaining.

Lush is a shop that sells hand made, natural beauty products including skin care, hair products and makeup. It is an excellent place to find gifts and their range of gift boxes provide easy readymade and wrapped gifts.

You can smell the shop from some distance away and when you enter it you will find all the products laid out and ready to sample. The staff are very helpful and will advise you if you are not sure about anything.

My favourite products are the massage bars and bath bombs. I also like the fact that all the products are vegetarian and many are also vegan (marked with vegan stickers).

Lush is lush - plain and simple. You cant walk past without smelling thr wonderful aroma from the shop. All products are natural and if they arent pre packcaged, you can tell the sales assistant just how much or how little you like!
It all looks good enough to eat, and is good for your skin!

Lush is a fantastic shop that always draws you in just with the smell that comes wafting out of it. The products on offer always look good enough to eat and the huge selection is only limited by your purse strings. The products are organic and work surprisingly well. Everything does exactly what it says on the tin and the pre-made gift packages are ideal for birthday and Christmas.

There is nothing to complain about, the staff are helpful and unique gifts can always be found here. I often visit this store when out shopping and have never had a bad experience. 5 stars from me.

How shopping should be! Lush offers are huge array of cosmetics and personal hygiene products which are made only from natural ingredients. The staff in here really know their onions and they tend to know every product intimately (might have something to do with the great staff discount my friend told me about!). You can ask for advice and they are really helpful.

The shop is a vibrant explosion of colours, fragrances and beautiful bouncy words. I love the descriptions of the products! My personal favourites are Caca Noir Henna (for shiny strong hair), Aqua Mirablilis ( Fabulous biscuity body scrub) and all of the face masks (especially the lettucy facial scrub one).

At Christmas look out for Snow Fairy the limited edition shower gel. Also, the new tea tree oil tabs are a bargain facial steamer at 75p a go.

I love lush! the products are very cute and smells lovely. the company is very enviromental friendly too. the staffs are very friendly and helpful( some shops in Manchester, shop assistants are impolite), so i always feel comfortable to visit there. I do not know who don’t like Lush…. I like thier shampoo bar. it is like a soap bar. so when i go to gym, i bring it . it is small but you can use around 50 times. so it is easy to carry. thier massage bar is also nice smell and good for relax night.
