Everyone should go on the duck tour when they visit Liverpool! It is so much fun and really informative as you learn all about the docks, the many interesting churches and spot some lambanas. Our tour guide and driver were both very friendly and funny with a range of props to keep us entertained. Definitely worth £12 but make sure you wear warm clothes and bring waterproofs...

yellow duck is fantastic, i highly recommend it!! it is very informative and also goes into the mersey around the docks as well as driving you around the city. there is also a fit tour guide called jenn!! she happens to be my missus!! lol

I must post a comment here as I have been on the yellow duck tours twice now (in june and last week) with no problem whatsoever,infact I brought my family back over from teeside for my second visit!!
Mabye I was lucky but we suffered no breakdowns at all on either tour and the tour itself was informative yet very entertaining . Mike our guide showed us around the city on both visits ,mixing a tour with a standup routine made the tour fly by and woosh before we knew it we are splashing in the water! I booked for him specifically for my familys visit as I think he is like john bishop :-) !!).If you havnt been on wacker quacker duck ,watch out for the water pistols and the fish! The weather was lovely ,the tour was lovely,the guide and driver were great fun ,liverpool is a lovely city and well...my family loved it!!
We will be back next year!!

This is fantastic!!!!I have told so many people about the day i went on a tour in a bright yellow bus roun liverpool and it turned into a boat and splased into the marina and they all think im barking mad!
It was wonderful ad on a loely clear day too! I learned so much about the city i had visited so many tmes and got to see a lot of the famous landmarks that makes Liverpool the capital of culture that it is today.
You HAVE to do this!!!

very enjoyable boat trip (with a difference) for your family. Shows you lots of sights in Liverpool and points out some interesting facts. Only downside is the cost as quite expensive.

If you actually live in Liverpool you would only do this once as it is quite expensive but it’s great for tourists and a one off. setting off from the Albert dock the bright yellow bus takes you all around the centre of Liverpool and tells yoou some fascinating tales like the gambler in the churchyard of the bombed out church who was buried sitting up as the devil was coming to take him if her ever laid down! Then back to the Albert dock where you enter the dock and your bus magically turns into a boat! You then get a small tour of the dock itself. A good way to learn about the history of Liverpool and especially good for children!

Having lived in Liverpool for uni, i thought i had seen quite a lot of the places which Liverpool offers to tourists and to the general population in terms of landmarks and other attractions. The yellow duck however is by far one of the better ones i would recommend to anyone coming to liverpool. The guide and driver were unbelievable considering they must do 6 or 7 a day at least. They had sing songs and other audience participation which left the kids on the edge of their seat and feeling really involved in the whole thing. A great experience and well worth the money spent, fond memories and would do it again should i need to show anyone around the diverse city of Liverpool

Brillant good fun!

It is quite expensive so not something that could be done regularly but really good as a one off!

I went as part of a big group and we all enjoyed it!

Tour guides were informative and funny - although a little hung over, though this probably added to the humour of it all!

I’m frfom Liverpool, so didn’t learn many new things but my friends found it interesting and learnt something new.

Really good for tourists!

One of the best ways to see Liverpool. It travels all around the docks, the proceeds into the actual city. At the end of the tour it plunges into the Albert Dock, which then takes you on a tour around the docks. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth the money and is a great day out for everyone.

This huge yellow duck transports you around the city showing you places of interest linking to beatles and liverpools history ,, it ends up on the river mersey . Real good idea capturing alot of the hussle and bussle of liverpool . You have to pay a fee but worth it .
