Great hotel, suite was a nice size with good views. Fantastic Chinese restaurent.

My absolute favourite hotel in London!!! In the middle of Kensington, overlooking Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and the bustling Kensington High Street (shopping heaven) in front of the door. 5-star luxury at its best! Great rooms, very attentive service, beautiful lobby with gallery and library, perfect transport connections. Well, the prices are accordingly high, but definitely not exaggerated. Correct value for money and worth every pound! There are few hotels which have impressed me so strongly!

Excellent hotel, have stayed here on many occasions whilst visiting London. Officially 5 star. Spot on location for Kensington area and really one of my favourite locations in London.
average cost is around £175 per night per room (upto 2 people) but also includes as much breakfast as you can eat in YOUR ROOM, so you don’t have get up and go down to a buffet.

Loads of choice on the Hotel menu, both room service and in their restaurants.
Has a car park underneath about £30 for 24 hrs, but I got a better deal the last few times, I tipped the doorman at the front £20 and he let me leave my car right outside on the driveway for 24 hrs. Its now owned by some emirati’s hence loads of lovely lebanese stuff on the menu these days. Next to Grosvenor casino if you like gambling, its about a 15 minute walk from Harrods. The rooms have been upgraded a bit recently and they always upgrade me free of charge to a junior suite (loyalty bonus) which makes the stay that touch better.

This review is of the fuction room.
Pleasant enough drinks in a low ceilinged room, with a number of pillars around which drinks tables are attached.
On to the room which was fine with pretty good AV facilities for Award films and the like, no doubt the dreaded pwerpoint would be well pesented.
The meal was Ok, Stilton souffle with an interesting salad offer. Main course of a large piece of chicken, bigger than most functions.
Dessert was a chocalate dish, mediocre.
Wines weren’t brilliant, but that may have been down to selection.
Service was polite and attentive.
Hardly memorable, but wouldn’t stop me going to the right Dinner/Awards/Do.
Location just 5 minutes from Kensington High St. tube.
