A lovely walk next to Rosemarkie on the Black Isle. The name itself is really nice and a nice walk to take children on. They love to look for the farieis. It is a short and easy walk that takes you along a stream. It can be a little muddy when wet but overall it is easy and enjoyable. The path is lined with trees which makes it seem magical. There are two waterfalls at the end of the walk which are very pretty. Its a great walk for the family or to take your children on and they will not find it hard going. It is also used by people walking their dogs but it is not a busy walk which is nice. It is a relaxing walk that you can do at your own pace with nobody much around to disturb you. The trickling water makes for a nice background sound.

This is a really pretty walk. You walk along a path by a stream and then through trees and you can see waterfalls. This is a really nice and relaxing place to walk, we take the dog here and a flask of coffee for after the walk.

Congrats on becoming Insider - How did I miss this walk when in Inverness? Just checked the map and we didn’t walk this far, and drove further afield, so it fell between the two. That means I’ll have to go back!

The Fairy Glenn is a lovely short walk alone a stream with two pretty waterfalls. My kids and dogs love this walk its in a Glen so sheltered from the wind. There is a path from Rosemarkie beach which I have also reviewed so if you visit the beach when the tide is high or its a wet windy day The Fairy Glen is a more sheltered walk.
