Adios Fopp, it was fun whilst it lasted. A great chain of music stores trying to innovate the distribution of low-cost CDs & DVDs. Specialised in back catalogue and Independent labels this was the place to buy the latest Editors, Strokes, Bloc Party, Arcade Fire, SFA etc etc as well as stock up on every album from all sorts of classic & diverse acts including Tangerine Dream, David Bowie, Gary Numan, Iron Maiden, Rush, Queen and so on. All at prices typically in the £5 to £10 range. They also had a limited range of DVDs

In they end they expanded too quickly and have gone into administration - hopefully they'll resurrect soon. The flagship store on Tottenham Court Road was amazing and stocked vinyl too.
