I’d recommend a Tuesday for a nightout here, certainly the busiest. Deemed as one of the more popular places in Preston, suppose for good reason – granted it’s a University city so as a student hot spot it’s brilliant. Entry prices can be a bit dear (£5 I feel’s a bit much), but the drink prices are very good – granted you buy the right things.
It is dark, cramped and somewhat industrial, doesn’t always attract Preston’s finest – but at the same time no one gets out of hand, and the place is very well staffed with security, plus all the doors/toilets/bars/stairs are pretty much within the same vicinity.
The worst thing about it, as is often the case in nightclubs, is it literally does play the same 10 songs everytime on each floor – but if you dig them, you’re in for an assured good time ;)
Great music, great staff, great atmosphere and everything that your Lava & Ignite’s aren’t.

This place could potentially be really good. However, i will not be returning. if this represents the “alternative” scene in preston, then preston does not have much to offer.
Not only do you feel like you’re in a youth centre, but its overcrowded and i have to say it quite literally stinks. I was expecting to listen to real good music, and to be fair there were really good little gems, overall it was all a bit faux indie and emo.
its cheap to get in, but its rammed and its tiring constantly fighting to get anywhere.

Warehouse is awesome. I’ve been with a variety of different friends both female and male for many years now and it’s one of the greatest places to hang and have a night out in Preston.
No chavs, great social/ smoking area, 3 floors of music, easy to floor hop if you’re not digging a particular song, or wanting to see if another floor is quicker to get served on. Also to address the guy who said his girlfriend had trouble getting served, then I think there has to be more too that story. I’ve never heard anyone bad mouth the service in Warehouse, and in fact, a lot of the times (because Warehouse generally attracts decent people) I myself, or people at the bar will gladly tell the bar staff that someone was here/ there first etc.5 star review.

My girlfriend went on Friday 7-1-11 with a friend of ours who had come over from Belgium for the weekend. The music was really good and was having fun but when she went to the bar the barmaid over looked her a number of times in favour of lads who she was obviously trying to get tips from. When she told the barmaid she had been waiting to be served the barmaid got very aggressive to the point where she called my girlfriend a fat slag!! My girlfriend complained to the manager but she seem uninterested saying she cannot imagine the barmaid acting like that. Our friend who witnessed the way this barmaid had spoken to my girlfriend was shocked saying this would never happen in Belgium the customer should never be spoken to like that, no one should be spoken to like that! But it seems The WareHouse allows it staff to abuse customers who do not like the poor service they may get. I will never go to this club again until they get better bar staff and the barmaid who abused my girlfriend is sacked. I recommend if you like good service do not go here..

Really good venue for those into the alternative music scene. The venue itself is different from most places, brick walls and low ceilings, but that only adds to the atmosphere. With three different floors there is something to suit all tastes whether youre into indie, emo or rock music and there is a bar located on each floor too. The admission price is reasonable as are the drinks, however the place seems to be ful of underage kids at times which seems strange as i’m over 18 and still get IDed!
However, if youre into the alternative and indie music scene and struggling to find somewhere to go on a Friday i really recommend the Warehouse as i’ve always had an awesome time here on Fridays.

A great place if you want a good night out. The prices are alright and it’s reasonable to get in. They have a few floors with different music on each, so you can go with a big group of mates and everyone will be happy. It’s quite intimate too, has a great atmosphere, and for some reason it’s always easy to find each other! Food outlets quite close too for the greesy food cravings after chucking out!

The Warehouse is seen as the more alternative place to go out in Preston.
There are three floors which all play different kinds of music, so you can choose what you want to listen to. There is also a bar on each floor which is handy.
Drinks are reasonably priced and it isn’t to expensive to get in.

different music on 3 floors - grunge, rock, indie
Good mix, informal, dark. Great venue. Primarily for 20s age group but old rockers still welcome and don't feel too out of place.
