Review of Frame from 30 December 2011 (updated on 3 January 2012)

frame is great if you love fitness classes you have so much choice so no matter how busy you are you’ll always find a classes to fit around your day.The vibe classes run ever 30mins and there a great way to tone up and get a full body work-out.My best classes are the quick butt, dance and you should check out Andrews box fit class they will push you hard but it’s worth the swet. But all the trainner are good and are with you 100%.If your looking for weights and tread mill and a gym then it’s not for you but if your into dance and fitness classes then it’s all you will even need i’ll be back in the new year.

Review of Frame from 6 December 2011

Having been a full member of all the other “corporate” gyms in London (and never once returned after the initial hour of awkwardness), I can safely say this is the best “gym” in London.
I have been going pretty much every day for the past two weeks because guess what? You can actually see RESULTS. The Frame-work and Cardio Kettlebells classes are my favourite – Your body feels like you have been beaten up by angry teenage on crack the next day, but boy it is worth it!
Oh, and the music…THE MUSIC!! You are basically dancing your way into a fitter you, and thats a 5 star rating on my books.

Review of Frame from 15 June 2011

I have been going to Frame since February in what started as an attempt to shape up for my wedding (which was in April). I usually get pretty bored with exercise regimes and have given up many in the past! What I love about Frame is the flexibility, choice of classes and friendly non-gym like atmosphere.

The choice of classes really is incredible and the 2 week timetable means you can mix it up on alternate weeks and get your classes booked in so that you don't feel tempted to skip out and go to the pub instead!

In the last few months I have been enjoying (!!!) a perfect combination of Cardio Barre, Rebounding, Vibe, Body Conditioning, Kettlebells, Pilates, Fit Camp & Spinning. And since Feb I think I have only missed one class I had booked. The enjoyment of the classes and the enthusiasm of the teachers (especially Pip & Joan!) has given me new motivation :)

The location is perfectly half way between Liverpool Street & my office so working going there into my routine by going to classes before work has been really easy.

And finally, the proof of the pudding :) is that since Feb I have lost 25lbs and my shape has completely changed. I have been trying to eat more healthily but Frame and its diverse, fun range of classes has been a part of this achievement!

Review of Frame from 25 May 2010

Fun, different and interesting. Not usually things you'd say about a gym. But Move Your Frame manages to feel like the most un-gym-like gym you can imagine. Which is excellent. And devious.

I'm going to Vibe here quite a lot at the moment because a) it's a 2 minute hop from my office and b) I ate too many pies. The instructors are pretty tough bvut very good. I know this because of my lack of ability to walk down stairs the next day. Anything that hurts this much must be doing you good...

The staff are friendly and helpful and the choices of class are incredible. I can't wait to have a free Wednesday night so I can go and do their 80's aerobics class. Hold on a sec, they actually managed to get me to say I can't wait til I'm not out drinking and eating so I can go and do some exercise - they're so getting another star for that...

Review of Frame from 7 April 2010

Frame is an amazing place offering dance, yoga and much more. I have taken a few classes there and always left feeling excited and energised.

There is plenty to choose from and themed workshops to attend too. I haven't had a chance to get to one yet but I can't wait to go to one!

The staff are really lovely,as are the dance teachers, and everyone is made to feel welcome.

Review of Frame from 27 September 2009

Frame is a great place which offers dance and fitness classes in the heart of the hip Shoreditch neighbourhood. They have different dance classes every single day of the week, catering to every kind of dancer that's out there, from jazz to tap to hip hop and ballroom. Frame also has yoga, pilates, reformer pilates and vibe classes.

They also hold theme workshops which are usually great fun. I've attended Human Percussion (taught by a cast member of Stomp!) and Dirty Dancing (which teaches you how to dance the routines from the movie) and had great fun each time.

Frame also holds a Friday Night Club once a month which involves a themed-class, a glass of champagne and a mini-makeover all for £20.

The dance studio is among the best I've seen; the floor is incredibly smooth and it's big enough to accommodate a class without people getting in one another's way.

The staff at Frame are friendly, and there's a nice reception area where you can grab a drink of water or coffee or read the latest magazines while waiting for your class to begin. The shower facilities are really good as well.

Frame's website is constantly updated with the most recent timetable, as well as the latest offers which change every month. Phone and Internet bookings can be made for classes, although it's also possible to just turn up on the day itself for the class.

Review of Frame from 14 June 2009

Anyone who knows me even slightly will find out one fundamental thing about my belief system: I hate gyms. Anything that looks a bit like a coreographed class, or a piece of gym equipment usually has me quivering with repulsion, such is my antipathy to anything that vaguely resembles gym-based excercise.

But when I came across a rave review of Frame in my favourite extreme sports magazine, Cooler, I thought “well, they usually recommend good stuff, so why not?” I was very pleasantly suprised. So much so, that it may have changed my previous indoor fitness prejudices.

Only Frame isn’t a gym as such, more of a pupose built fitness studio; very intimate, minimalist sexy with power showers in the changing rooms (there is a God!) a menu of original-sounding classes, like Bollywood dancing, Burlesque and the very highly subscribed reformer pilates, which involved using this machine that looks a teeny weeny bit like some thing you’d come across in an S&M dungeon. Although I’m sure they wouldn’t dream of using it for such a thing…

The class sizes are purposely small, so you don’t get that 'batter hen’ feeling that people such as myself get from gyms; it’s much more personal, and they have fun events here too, like sample sales, fashion shows and even the odd Rollapaluza. They even serve toast in the mornings!

If you’re the kind of person that has always wanted to get membership to The Third Space but couldn’t really justify it, or is still looking for someone to recommend them as a member of Shoreditch House; Frame is the ideal place to try to get that sense of hipster-infected Shoreditch style without worrying about your wallet
