I was looking for a new local salon as my old one came under new management and it no longer felt the welcoming place I'd always known it to be. It was definitely time for a change.
Hive does long hair! What a joy to meet a true professional in Carolina. Some hairdressers are afraid of very long hair, but Carolina is highly talented and made me feel really welcome.
Carolina took my very long thick hair with unknown colour mixture into her capable hands. I was unable to retrieve my records from the prior salon down the road because they were deemed 'trade secrets'. Carolina took these challenges in her stride, expertly matching the colour. I cannot praise Carolina's expertise or professionalism too highly. My hair looks amazing.
I felt welcome and 'at home' from the moment I walked through the door. Hive is a real gem, and I will have my hair done at Hive for all the years to come that I continue to live in this area.
I strongly recommend Hive.

The lady who cut my hair is the first hairdresser in ages who has really listened to what I wanted, so that was great. She was very confidant that she could do the cut I wanted, and it turned out lovely.
They were friendly, but not cloying. I like this place.

tried them after being recommended by a friend. now i'm waiting for my hair to grow so that i can get it fixed by another stylist at another salon. totally ruined my hair. friendly people but no skills.

Went to Hive as it's close by to work but having now gone, I would definitely travel to get there! The staff are really lovely, and my stylist (not sure of her name - possibly Naoki? She's Japanese) was wonderful! I've never had such attention paid to my hair. Such a perfectionist and I am thrilled with the result! Highly recommended boutique salon that's far better than any Toni & Guy/Headmasters salon. What a shame I'm from Australia! Almost worth staying here for the hair service. :)

Couple of weeks ago, a firend of mine told me about this place. Teling me that there are some amazing hairdressers. I went there last saturday. That hair salon is absolutely fantastics! Not only I got my colour changed ( and I love it), the whole service was just great!!! Also I got my make-up done by this charming young man, Mika!
I've just fond the perfect place!

I recently went to Hive and had such an amazing experience.Staff were friendly ,helpfull and they really know what they are doing. Great value for money also! The stylist(Calum) advised me to make some changes-thank god i took his advice-my hair has never looked better.On top of that it is so easy for me to style at home!!
