I am a fan of the Printworks as I like having so much choice under one roof. There is a choice of restaurants, bars, clubs, a casino and a huge Odeon cinema. What more could you want? The Printworks has a clean and bright atmosphere that is always lively at the weekends. There is a continuous line of taxis waiting outside to take you home after a night dancing. The Printworks is ideal during the winter months when you can wander around undercover. Other than the cinema, there is little for children to do within the Printworks complex so it isn’t great for families. It tends to attract rowdy single-sex groups at the weekend but there is such a large choice of establishments that it is usually possible to avoid them.

I agree with wink1983 - a very strange place, am not sure what they were thinking when they built it. There is a cinema, bars, restaurants and clubs based around an L shaped undercover "street". I think its supposed to be modelled on a New York street or something, but it looks kind of tacky and lame. And these days it seems to attract the big single sex groups that can make Manchester a bit horrible on the weekend. The Ink Brasserie in the Pure bar/club/restaurant bit is actually a nice restaurant, the cinema is good and it has a good Wagamamas, but personally I would only visit these on a weekday evening or during the day. Bit lairy at the weekend really.

The Printworks is a bizzare place. it has planty of shops a large Odeon Cinema complex, clubs, resturants.. in effect, this should be a interesting place to visit in Manchester city centre but the layout and decor is cringeworthy...it is Las Vegas meets 18th Century Britain.. although the facilities are good the decor and general atmosphere of the place is comfusing
