Professional door staff, efficient bar staff, food tastes okay but the music is simply the best. It makes sense to book a table in advance otherwise you will be standing.

The only Jazz club in London you should ever go to. For get Jazz after Dark et al. This is the place to come. Ronnie Scott’s is not cheap, but it attracts some of the finest jazz musicians in Europe.
We saw Kyle Eastwood (Clint’s son!) and he was awesome. Phenomenal service and wheat beer on tap. What more could you want!

I took my friend there for her birthday and we both had a great time there.
The coctails are a must try and the music is good too.
It all goes with the atmosphere.

I returned to Ronnie Scott’s recently after being away for a few years and it made me ask myself what made me stay away for so long?!!
The venue has a new manager and his recent activity has resulted in there being a new buzz about the place.
I only had some drinks and food in the bar upstairs but was really impressed by the quality of the food and indeed the service. The bill doesn’t break the bank either which all in all makes it the ideal place to hang out in the evening. If you haven’t been for a while, go and have a look!

Really nice place, I have been there three times in the past and would love to go there regularly. AMAZING Jazz music and very nice atmosphere.
It reminded me of Moulin Rouge in Paris a bit!
Definitely a place to be suggested!

A London institution, Ronnie Scott’s still holds onto the charm that has enticed so many artists and music lovers through the door over the years. The low lighting gives an intimate feel for what is actually quite a good sized venue. The bar upstairs is also worth a look! The food is very nice and this is a good place to come with a group of friends.

Whilst living in London, I’ve been to Ronnie Scott’s several times over the last few years, and I must say I have always enjoyed the experience there. Food may have gone downhill a tiny bit and obviously the smoking ban has reduced the whole jazz bar atmosphere (although the musicians must benefit hugely!)

My friend (a well known female Jazz saxophonist) phones me every now and again to tell me that she has died and gone to heaven… in actual fact she has been drinking or playing in her favorite club in London… Ronnie Scotts is certainly her favourite place and i thought it was too cool for school too!

Ronnie Scott’s has become an institution and is a must, whether5 you are a true jazz fan or not. I fall into the latter category but have visited this famous haunt many times over the years. I was even reprimanded by Ronnie Scott himself for talking during a performance many years ago.
Not much has changed, as far as rules and regulations are concerned. Before we even sat down we had been lectured about turning our phone off in no uncertain terms.
The decor is also stuck in the past and is reminiscent of a cruise ship with brass railings and red velvet all over the place.
I like the fact that it’s table service, but it would help if the staff actually spoke more than basic English … we really needed a drink having had to queue for more than half an hour to get in to get in at 11.30 for a jam session that was billed to start at 12.30. The actual jam didn’t start until 1 am … mind you the performance we expereienced instead was absolutely brilliant.
Ronnie Scott’s is all about jazz and sometimes it is comforting to have a few prejudices confirmed.

Ronnie Scott’s is somewhere that everyone should visit when they come to London. Unfortunately it is quite pricey and sometimes the acts are not as good as they used to be. I have seen a couple of shows there and they have been fantastic. The musicians are top notch and even the support acts are pretty amazing. Drinks are very pricey and don’t fall into the trap that I did – I set up a tab and then got quite drunk. It was only when I looked at the receipt the next morning that I realised how much I had spent! Not good for the bank balance, but certainly a night to remember in Ronnie Scotts.

The number one place for live jazz in London! Situated in the heart of Soho, this venue is intimate and has a unique vibe all of its own. It’s not the cheapest night out (the last time I went it coust around £25) and the drinks are certainly not at bargain prices; however the live music is what it is all about and that is world- class. The lights are dim; you have your own table and then the music starts and takes you into another realm. Usually there are at least 2 acts which provide a full evening’s entertainment (well, by evening I mean into the early hours of the following morning!) When you eventually emerge, treat yourself to a coffee at one of the many late opening cafes just on the doorstep of Ronnie’s. A super night out!

what can I say, a classic. not my favourite jazz venue in the world (that would be in NYC), but close. have had some memorable evenings here with friends, and the artist selection, while not groundbreaking, is plenty good enough. the location is close to plenty of decent restaurants too. drinks are well priced, which helps.

We had a fantastic night out, and really enjoyed the music. I’d have got on better if the seating had been a little more comfortable, but despite that I’d definitely go back - and perhaps after the refurbishment it will be more comfortable anyway.
I’m impressed that the club don’t try and take advantage of the fact that they have a captive audience by over-charging for food and drink, as so many other places do. The atmosphere in the club was good, and nobody was rude enought to talk loudly during the sets. The only thing I’d change would be to give people slightly more space at the tables.
I’d recommend a night out - it’s not too expensive, and is definitely an experience that you won’t forget in a hurry.

Needless to say it’s the venue of choice for jazz in Soho although some of my friends think the audiences can be a little stuffy. Not the place to go if you just want to have a chat with friends but a good relaxed late night alternative to most of the other clubs in Soho.
The drinks can be pricey but the table service is good so you don’t need to miss any music whenever you’re feeling thirsty.

This club is old fashioned class. There are often long queues to get in, but I’m so showbiz I’ve only ever been on the guestlist so I also don’t know how much it costs to get in.
What I do know is that the drinks are super expensive, but the house wine (£19) is quite nice.
The bar staff have lovely outfits and are all very attractive.
The music is pretty excellent too.
A very trendy cool place to go that has charm, character and oozes confidence and sexiness.

Yeh, this is the most stylish club I’ve ever been in. Very classy. Excellent music. Quite an affluent feel to the place.
Sort of like a night club for grown ups.
Next time I’d like to sit at one of the tables in front of the band and sample the food.
Most of the people there seem to be really musically educated. Unfortunately we sat just in front of a couple who talked throughout most of the performance, clearly they were there just becuase it was a cool club, not becuase they wanted to hear the music. Can’t blame the venue for that though.
As it’s such a mature crowd, and such an upmarket feeling place, I felt that people were quite reserved about dancing.
Mostly the happy punters just swayed in their chairs, whilst a few near the bar got a little more down to it.
Could be just the night we went though.
Will definately be going again.

Great place for Jazz, it is an institution, and the revamp hasn’t lost much of the atmosphere. Music is of a very high standard.
I wish I lived nearer to make membership economic.
It’s not too pricey but an evening does add up.
Meals available which are fine.
The pew type seats in some areas aren’t my favourite, if you are booking try to get a proper table.
