Crew Experience

Recently had a hair cut and wet shave. I went here thinking it would be great treat to get a good wet shave and shaping of my goatee. I have in the past had wet shaves on regular basis when living in the Middle East and still use a cut throat to shape my goatee on a daily basis. Unfortunately I was really very unimpressed by the cut throat wet shave service. I understand it was the manager who did the shave. The process of hot towels etc. was fine but he managed to cut me and cause major irritation to my skin for 2 days now. However, the real disaster was the goatee. It was clear that he has never done this before, or simple terrible at it. I ended up with tufts of hair left on one side and not the other, it was more than lop sided and in addition he didn't trim it. Simply got to this state an said job done isnt it great. I then had to repeatedly ask him to fix each bit, which he did, but still eventually had to fix the mess at home ... was very close to simply shaving it off as it was embarrassing. The hair cut was fine but very average. I would definitely never return or recommend this to anyone if they are actually looking for decent wet shave. I have had much better in dodgy corner shops in the Middle East and also at other venues in London. Sorry if this seems like a rant but promise you this is from an objective perspective having enjoyed cut throat wet shaves for some time.

Been coming to this place for 3 years. Great guys. Gets busy at the weekend so make a booking. You get offered tea, coffee or beer while they cut your hair. Extras such as shave and manicure all available as well as a spa and massage facility in the basement. I'd recommend this place.

Sam and his crew, provide a great service, leaving me with my hair cut exactly as I want it. If you have some time available, a hammam downstairs provides a great massage after a time sweating out the strains of the day.
