The address listed here is wrong - its now at 216a Brick Lane. It was a bit difficult to find because there's no signage - its just a small buzzer on a door, which is directly opposite the bagel shop. Once in they are located on the first floor. Its really small - just 2 rooms - but don't let it put you off!

I was pretty nervous when I got in because it didn't look like much and I'd never been there before, but thankfully all my fears proved untrue. The lady who waxed me was excellent, she knew what she was doing and it hardly hurt at all. They use a dark orange/brown hot wax and it was very good for my sensitive skin. It seems to be run by 2 spanish ladies. They are both really funny and speak a mixture of Spanish and English. The lady waxing me really managed to put me at ease and was really chatty.

All in all I can't recommend this place enough - great wax, location, staff and price.

Actually, this lady is right, "it wasn't Cintia's day". But that's because Cintia hasn't been waxing since January!!! It was definitely not Cintia! She is only managing now. I have been using their services since they started 9 years ago and as a regular client I can definitely say I know them, and they have been brilliant since. I understand they might be having some refurbishment done, but isn't it a good sign??? I have been there myself recently and yes the builders were decorating the hallway, but as soon as I stepped into the rooms of My Brazilian Waxing, the place was impeccable. Very clean and all the products are disposable. All the beauticians with uniforms, gloves, very professional and yes they talk "a lot" because they are lovely! Great atmosphere and they make you feel welcome. The place is on the first floor, just a few steps away which makes it discreet. Specially if you are going for a waxing, trust me you wanna feel cosy. The pain is very particular and depends on you only. It can be intensified by stress, anxiety, period pain, etc. It also depends on how long you have been waxing, how often and if you have been shaving, as the hair will get thicker. At the end of the day, everybody is looking for a bargain. They just happen to have both, quality and good price. It couldn't be better!

Im afraid I have to disagree with most of the comments - maybe it wasn't Cintia's day , but I didn't feel comfortable throughout the session. She talks too much , gives little sympathy and the final result left me with quite a bit of wax on me and missed bits of hair all over the place.

The location is a very small room , up some stairs in a townhouse going through refurbishing. Didn't feel like the whole place was hygienic to be honest.

Most of all , it hurt incredibly bad! And no , its not my first time being waxed .... but this was awful. Rather pay more and find a place that is professional then going back here.

Finally!! An address where they really know how to wax, give great service and don’t charge a fortune. The hot wax was much less painful then regular stripwax and took less time too. Very happy and will def. be going back.

Based on the Qype reviews I went to Cintia a few months ago. I’ve been having bikini waxes for years but I must say that this was hands down probably the best for customer service, value for money, professionalism.

Cintia is a God send!! Really thorough and puts you at ease. First time I've used her and am happier with the results than I ever have been with a waxing.

The price is a bonus and she is worth every penny. Its so nice not to be charged through the roof AND be 100% happy with the result.

Now I will be using her services for as long as she's offering them!

Those are just a few words that I can say about Cintia's service. She made me feel confortable and relax despite the pain I was having.

I recommend it for anyone out there who needs some grooming and does not like pain!!!!
