friendly service, great bio bagels with butter and marmelade (mmmh), donuts, muffins, good coffee, and nice tables and chairs (it is bigger than it seems from the outside) to sit and have breakfast alone or with friends

Friendly service and great coffee are what you can expect at this warm little cafe on Schonhauser Allee. The owner also speaks very good English.

Lovely little coffee shop / café right opposite the U-Bahn station “Schönhauser Allee”. They have all the things on offer that you’d hope for… coffee, tea, organic juices and beer * s *, bagels, ciabatta, sandwiches, croissants and muffins.
Simply choose between loads of different spreads or toppings for your bread section.
All of these cost just about 20 to 60 Cent.
If you don’t know what exactly you are after the friendly owner will gladly provide you with a few culinary suggestions.
Altogether prices are pretty moderate (considering the organic ingredients) which comes as a nice surprise.
If the sun is out take your chance and sit outside on one of the 2 little benches. A great chance to spy on the trendy Prenzl Berg people.
It’s definitely worth a visit.
