Eddie’s prides itself on being the more upmarket 'diner’ as opposed to a fast food restaurant. There are quite a few located in Dublin. This Eddie rockets in particular is located close to stillorgan cinema, and quite a few of the late night movie fans end up here. It is like all the Eddie Rockets- bright, red, shiny, and traditionally american. The food is very tasty, though slightly expensive. The milkshakes are gigantic, and very sweet. I like the fries, and the burgers are very good. The service in this diner is very prompt, and it stays open late. A good place to go with friends.

Eddie Rockets is a fast food American style diner. I have been there on many occasion and love the food and atmosphere here. They serve many traditional American dishes including fries, hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken wings. Their drinks include Coca cola, milkshakes and even a icecream float where they put a scoop of ice-cream in your soft drink.
Whenever I go to Eddie Rockets I order the Chicken Fillet burger with cheese also known as the “Cheesy Chicken” and regular fries which I wash down with a Coca-Cola. They have a kids menu which is great and they give them toys free with the meal. They also now have a breakfast menu which includes the traditional sausages, pudding, hash browns or waffles with maple syrup. Although the prices of the food is not that cheap, it is nice to go there for the occasional treat.

This is a popular chain in Ireland. The charm is in the American style diner, complete with red stools, checker board patterns and tall old style milkshake glasses.
Eddie Rocket’s has its niche covered, it caters quickly and easily to those seeking the traditional burgers, onion rings, and the refilled weak black coffee. The nachos and the sky high desserts are good value for money, and the shakes are jsut as you imagine they should be.
