Well I took a trip down to Bookcase today after reading the reviews on here and I'll definitely keep returning! I love bookshops anyway but much prefer these little gems rather than the big chain stores. I couldn't believe how cheap it was considering the unique books you can find in there- I left with some great reference books.

Should probably limit my visits to once a month though, otherwise I could easily go bankrupt.

Unique book shop with a varied and intreasting stock,nothing like the main book stores you normally come across.
You can always find a quirky book or a two in here,plus great travel guides and one off calenders.
The prices are very low too and they have tables outside selling weird and wonderful books too...
Not a massive shop but great for a browse.

A great little bargain bookshop. Its strength is in non-fiction - fiction tends to be those cheap & cheerful classic novels series, which have limited appeal. My father swears by it - everytime he comes to visit he makes a trip and comes away happy. His interest tends to be in reference books on wildlife, chinese porcelain and classical music. Gives you a good indication of what's instore.
