Top Golf is excellent entertainment for friends and family. Would say that it is slightly disorganised when trying to get a bay but it has improved in this regard. Definitely recommended though.
A great place for family fun and its hugely entertaining and addictive. Golf not your thing?Take tine out and let dad take the lead on this while you enjoy a bottle of wine in the cafe.

Fantastic fun for the part time golfer or chance to release the Happy Gilmore in you. Remember late nights sipping on pints as you let a ball fly off into the distance. Thanks to the plexiglass behind the booths on the top floor there is a slight worry not to let go of the club when swinging back.
Of course if you’re an amateur and easily embarassed, prepare to get a ribbing from fellow mates as your score is displayed on a massive screen above the reception :D
Not the place for the serious golfer wishing to practice although it is fun for a family to go a mess around with a golf club and may encourage some young talent. Crazy golf course there as well.
Well stock pro shop but the bar/food service as well as quality are very poor
This was always fun, but since the little refurb they’ve had, the bays are much better - more relaxed and comfortable, stylish as well.
At first when they introduced their new no-booking policy, we were very skeptical, but it seems to be working well, as since it started we’ve only waited once for a bay and that was for only about 10 minutes
Great fun for all abilities and ages. I take my kids here on weekend. Much more fun than a regular driving range. There is a bar and serve food. Recently refurbished. They have changed it recently that you can not book a slot in advance which is a bit of a pain. There is also a golf shop there, but they do provide you with golf clubs if you do have your own.
If I had to describe it, it’s like bowling(!)
A driving range which can cater for approximately 40 games at once. There are huge holes scattered around the field and the aim is to hit your ball into theses holes for points - the closer to the centre of the hole the more points you get. You also get to tag your ball so it will tell you exactly where it has gone.
It’s good fun, but can be pricey depending on the time you go down.
Im not a massive golf fan but my partner is. Top Golf is the nearest place for him to go. He loves the fact that you can judge how you are doing because of it scanning the golf balls but when i have been there are always sooo many balls out there that mine bounce off others
The thing i like most about top golf is that it is for everyone. People there are of all levels because it is not you average driving range. With a micro chip attatched to every ball and giant holes to aim for, you recieve points for everball you get in. So not always does the best golfer win, it's the person with the most points! With heating on each bay it makes playing even better. Once you finish playing you can sit down for some food and drink, while playing a game of pool or running around in the arcades. All in all good family fun.
Think 10 Pin bowling in Plus Fours with a beer in one hand.
Confused? Essentially it is a driving range where each ball is individually chipped so that you know how far you hit it. The target field is a series of holes in which you can score points adding an element of competition to the occasion.
- Fun, social game
- Easy to use and even non golfers can join in with ease
- Drinks & Food available whilst you play
- Heaters in each bay!
- Nice venue, clean and well positioned
- The cost can be prohibitive - especially as guests have to "join" even for a one off visit.
