I have never thought that laser hair removal can be pleasant. After Michael Jane got their fancy lasers I felt skeptical, but they proved me wrong! Their laser hair removal is completely different from your usual lasers, it even works differently. You can relax and enjoy the treatment. Honestly. And the results are good. I have done 4 treatments so far, but I am less hairy already. Would strongly recommend to visit.

I have had laser hair treatment before from a brilliant laser place. They left and Michael Jane moved in and replaced the previous company with their equipment and staff.
I signed up for 6 laser hair removal treatments and on the final round of treatment they increased the laser settings, supposedly to achieve a better result.
The outcome was that they burnt me; so horrifically. I was debilitated with the burns for a few days and it has left me scarred. i am having to seek legal action for this.
They do not know what they are doing, the staff are totally unprofessional and after this happened to me and i contacted them for some after care support they didn't want to know. Apparently i am not the only one that has been affected in this way.

I was extremely disappointed by my laser session with Michael Jane. Last year I bought an offer for 6 laser sessions treating 3 small areas of my body.
I started by doing chin, lip, and glabella (middle of the eyebrows). Then I realised that glabella was not working because the size of the laser is too big to fit in between the two eyebrows, instead the laser lady was doing it above the eyebrow line which was not helpful. So I told them just to drop the glabella despite having payed for three areas. At that point each laser session lasted less than 5 minutes.
Then one day I got confused with the dates they gave me and as a result showed up on the wrong day and missed a session. Instead of trying to arrange another date, Michael Jane laser ladies asked me to pay full price (around 80 pounds) if I wanted to get a new 5 minutes laser session which I did because I was desperate to see some results. I though that it wasn't very professional, or customer friendly to do that, especially since I had dropped one area.
But most importantly: the six laser sessions did not work even though my skin is fair and my hair very dark. What is even worse is that I have more hair than before because I had to shave areas of my face before each session.
My advice is find a professional laser service with real skin experts instead of going for a cheap laser service/hair dresser salon.

I had laser hair removal here this last year.
Really Professional, friendly and personal service.
Mixed results- some areas with good results- others not so good- but this is normal for laser hair removal.
Honest advice and thorough treatments.
Would recommend to friends.

I recently had a Guinot Hydradermie facial at this salon and found the whole experience really nice and relaxing.
A nice lady greeted me at reception and took me downstairs to the “beauty” area where I was met by my beauty therapist. We talked through what my skin was like first and this wasn’t rushed and was quite in depth. The treatment itself was very relaxing and at an hour and a quarter I felt a bit sleepy by the end. Aferwards my face looked really clear.
I felt this facial was very good value and the therapist was professional and friendly without being pushing (she didn’t try and sell me lots of products). I’m going to book to go back soon as its near home and a bit of a find!
Just wanted to add I had a blow dry here about two years ago and was pretty happy also. But I’ve not had colour or a cut so can’t comment on those!

I have been visiting Michael Jane for 10 years and have always had superb cuts and a totally relaxing experience. The salon is bright and clean and the staff are helpful and cheerful.
I drive for over 2 hours each way for my cut as I live near Bournemouth. Well worth it!
