Cullen Dental Practice

The Cullen dental practice is very friendly and accomodating. The first time I went there I had a serious toothache and I couldn't have ended up in a better practice, they were all very supportive (heavy toothache can be quite upsetting!) and Patrick managed to find the culprit and treated it. Patrick is very passionate about keeping up to date with the latest technologies and developments in dentistry. He always takes his time for all the procedures, so nothing is done in a rush. Also he will always explain all options and if it's possible he will describe the least invasive options. What I also like is the fact that I can ask him all sorts of questions about teeth, I know so much more about teeth since I started going to the Cullen dental practice! Shelley, the oral hygenist, is as another reviewer mentioned very thorough, and Moya was very precise and friendly as well (as was her nurse). O, and Patrick's nurse is not insolent at all (what was mentioned in an other review), I think she and Patrick work as a good team. And Danuta the practice manager is always very helpful!  I would definitely recommend the practice.

I started using Dr Cullen after a recommendation from a friend several years ago. I had been told by another dentist, after an x-ray, that a pain I had in my tooth was a sinus problem. Dr Patrick determined that the pain was caused by a small fracture and sorted it in the same afternoon.

I don't get "major" issues anymore. Dr Cullen practices preventative dentistry (tackling problems early) and always ensures that I understand exactly what my options every time.

I would highly recommend The Cullen Dental Practice.

The best practice I've ever been to!
My first visit here was after a recommendation from a friend and I have to say that I could not have been more happy with the level of treatment and care I received.
Dr Cullen always takes the time to make me feel at ease and show and explain to me what I need doing rather than just telling me and there is always an appointment to fit around my shedule.
My previous dentists were quick to have a hurried look at my teeth and then send me on my way, which meant I was then going back 6 months later to find I had huge problems that seemed to have come from nowhere. At this practice I'm told about any problems I may have early enough so that it can be fixed before a whole lot more treatment is needed.
For someone like myself who wants to keep their teeth long into their golden years I really cannot recommend this practice enough.

Cannot recommend enough! And I have – sending at least 5 friends to The Cullen Dental Practice, many of whom are Americans who have lived here for a few years and were not satisfied with the level of dentistry they’ve received from others, both NHS and private. Patrick believes in preventative dentistry and does his best to empower you with the knowledge to, well, reduce your need of him! He is very detail oriented and takes great pride in getting whatever needs to be done, done perfectly. He does this with the latest technology and his many contacts with leading industry experts. Just as importantly, Patrick is an artist – he has the skill and desire to make your smile (or specific teeth) more healthy and look better than they originally did. And this includes molars; he spent 20 minutes helping me to decide on the colour of a crown that will only be seen when I’m laughing and someone is looking in my mouth!

Most importantly, I am relieved that I have found this level of dentistry in the UK. If I get something done at this practice, I know it’s done the right way and that it’s going to last – unlike one of my friends who had a filling from an NHS dentist and had to go to Patrick the same week to fix the botched job. Much less hassle/cheaper to do it correctly the first time. Again, I highly recommend this dental practice – the staff are all highly qualified and professional, including the incredibly thorough oral hygienist, Shelley!

I first saw Patrick some years ago. Having had NHS treatment for over 30 years I had some very sorry fillings and old crowns. Patrick’s now restored everything to a healthy standard and with his help he’s providing me with the chance to keep my teeth to a ripe old age.

I’m not a fan of visits to the dentist, but Patrick’s knowledge and calm approach makes it very ok. I’m happy that with all his experience and techniques the health of my teeth is in good hands. Hope I don’t move from Putney…

I thought I would write this review to thank all the members of this dental team for all of their care and understanding. My teeth are so natural and white for my Wedding Day. I now can smile because I don't have to worry about those terrible gaps I used to have !

I attended the Cullen Dental Practice and had six implants in my lower jaw due to loss of teeth. Options for implants were presented and the procedure took place in 1996. Subsequently, along with other restorations, the implants were crowned. Since then the implants have been stable and have required no further adjustments. As far as I am concerned the feel is quite natural and I am glad I went ahead

With great assurance I can unequivocally say that from my first visit with Dr. Cullen, I was absolutely impressed by his dedication to detail, his passion for his profession, and his seemingly effortless strive to achieve the greatest result possible. I can say without hesitation that he is the best dentist that I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by.

Less than a year ago I was concerned about smiling too broadly, for fear my broken and missing teeth might show. In addition, I avoided going to a dentist out of both general fear and embarrassment over my neglect of my teeth. Needless to say, smiling is no longer a problem, as Dr. Patrick Cullen did a great job repairing my teeth, relatively painlessly I must add. However, more importantly, the staff at The Cullen Dental Practice always made me feel comfortable, never chastising me for the past. I’ll be a patient there for life!

It seems like just yesterday when Dr. Cullen and I were laughing about that “silver mine” in my mouth. I think there was enough to fill up a few quarries. Now it’s all gone and I can’t tell you how pleased I am. It feels wonderful and looks great. It’s been 35 years since my mouth looked like this. I would highly recommend The Cullen Dental Practice to my friends and acquaintances.
