Great location, good range of lagers. Really quiet on Sunday afternoons in the winter, great for a read of the papers.

A very unique place… The building for Pitcher and Piano is magnificent (a really large old church that has been converted into a bar but kept masses of its character).
Haven’t been here for a couple of years but if I was visiting Nottingham I would definitely go here for a drink.
Not sure if this is still the case but… when you order spirits with mixers etc they used to give you doubles unless you specified otherwise. It’s not a cheap place anyway so this can really hike up the bill.
Great atmosphere with a good mix of ages and people.

this venue is breath-taking, the bar has been made in a church!
it is quite impressing to see in the first place. you don’t know what to expect when you go through but the view live up everybody’s expectations. they have kept the main features of the church and fitted a nice bar in it. it is huge and very fit for big party. or if it is a more intimate one, they have hidden tables in corners.
they have great cocktails such as the apple and elderflower and nice beer. it is not a pub but a bar so don’t expect beer pulls everywhere but it has been nicely made to impress.
they have nice food as well and quite good offers.
all together it is great place to go but mainly because of the venue, otherwise you can find many pitcher and piano bars around England.
