Although no longer know for what it was famous for - the place to go to flog those 'under the counter' sales, and get rid of stolen goods before the sun rose, Bermondsey Market is still an excellent destination to rummage through trestle tables of silver and china, with Victorian cups and saucers starting at £25. Prices are on the high side, but haggling is standard practice.
