About Us

We now have 3 large beutiful caravan’s for holiday hire sited at Richmond Holiday Centre, with 2 or 3 bed rooms available, click on our above web site for more details and availability. Tel. 07950 407740 or 01332 362123

The accommodation is smartly equipped with fine clean furnishings with a gas fire and a 32" Toshiba wide screen colour t.v with free view and a dvd player. We’ve also installed a music micro system with ipod docking station. The caravans are equipped with a hi-spec alarm system linking to the site’s security giving you peace of mind when your out and about, in both of our caravan’s there are fitted with a fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms for your safety. GAS and ELECTRIC is included – we don’t charge any extra for gas or electric.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with catering equipment for all our guest and includes a kettle, toaster and microwave, slow cooker, the kitchen also includes a gas oven with hob/grill, and fridge. A ironing board with steam iron is supplied for guests use. From March – June and September – November we install oil-filled radiators all of the bed rooms in both caravans.

We are also proud to announce that we’ve installed brand new double glazed windows and doors plus new Upholstery through out in both of our holiday caravan’s, also a new full length 5 foot wide veranda with secure gate in one of our 3 bed room caravans.

We provide a baby travel cot for your convenience in each of our caravan’s stored in the main bedroom wardrobe, and we do the change over of the bed linen our selves after every stay in our caravan’s so we know you can be assured that our caravan’s are spotless with freshly washed bed linen supplied for when you arrive (matrass water protectors in bedrooms, sheets, quilts with covers, pillows with cases). This was a big plus for us last season as most caravan owners ask you to take your own. We try to help make your holiday feel home from home when you arrive. You will just need your own towels and tea-towels. Any short breaks of 2 or 3 nights which may be available we will require you to take your own bed linen. We are now taking bookings for 2012/13 please get in touch to book your preferred week, all we require is a £50 deposit as the full holiday payment is not due till 4 weeks before your holiday start date if you wish.

We are privileged that both of our caravan’s are located on excellent plots on site our large 2 bed room caravan is located 1 row back from the front of the entertainment complex in line with the swimming pool which gives easy walking access to all the amenities and close to the park’s entrance, the 3 bed room caravan is just 1 row back from the 2 bed room caravan. The site is just a 5 minuet stroll away to a 24 hour Tesco super store next to the bus and train station in the centre of Skegness with a Lidl, Morrisons and iceland near by.We had a huge positive response from our guests in regards to the quality and size of our large luxury caravan’s, many re-booked for the following seasons!

Please note that a £50 refundable insurance bond is required which will be refunded up to 10 days after your holiday providing there is no damages or breakages and the caravan is left clean and tidy as when you arrived. Your £50 will be held for this purpose.

Payments are preferred by cheque, postal order or bank transfer in to our Halifax bank account via your local Halifax branch, however pay pal is offered as last resort with a 10% surcharge. All we ask is that you respect our holiday homes & on your departure date leave the caravan in the same condition as when you arrived. Please note no unsupervised children with felt-tip pens or crayons as we had a bad experience last season!

Richmond Holiday Centre complex has an ongoing excellent entertainments program through out the season which includes live music, comedians, family shows and lots more! Some special great theme night weekends Fri-Mon within the low season may be charged for by whichever festival hires the club, just ask for a flyer on your arrival for shows that’s on during your stay, this includes 60’s music festival weekends with over 10 original artists, 50’s Rock n Roll festival weekends, country line dancing weekends, and the country and western weekend which is usually free entrance for the country and western weekend. Your booking will secure all club/swimming passes for your party just ask at the reception office on your arrival at the park when you collect your caravan keys.

On site you will find a supermarket, cafe and fish ‘n’ chip shop, launderette, hair salon, chiropodist, children’s out door play area with recreational field, large arcade, family room (Rendezvous Bar) with Wifi Internet hot-spot, large club theatre, Old Town Tavern family pub, lounge bar, large indoor heated swimming pool with spar and Jacuzzi (there will be a charge for the use of the whirlpool spa and Jacuzzi)

We found we can’t list prices on our web site as we would like because the market is very competitive and our competitors would undercut any price we list as happened last year, this in no way means we’re expensive, quite the opposite it’s just that our competitors are greedy and wish to corner the market offering a less comfortable caravavan experience with fewer facilities please use our ‘contact us’ page or give us a call for prices, we hope you can understand our frustration in this matter.

The Club House on site offers a excellent entertainments package through out the season which includes lots of kiddies entertainment and live shows which has made Richmond Holiday Centre most famous of all the caravan sites within Skegness, there also includes cash bingo before the main shows begin, there is great disco entertainers Sara & Lee before and after the shows. Many families re-book do to the excellent entertainment at the club on site.

We have been here for 8 or 9 years, been holidaying with our parents since we were children, we are now pensioners, in the last year or 3, things have changed, the restaurant is awful, (the food not the ambience) the two entertainment staff, Lee sarah an Richie) are brilliant, the club has always been the main attraction, but since the new manager, (entertainment) and hoseasons joined the camp things have really gone downhill, it used to be a great camp with brill food and acts, it's now low life an scummy, 9.50 sun holidays, since when did Richmond give out vans for £9.50, no wonder there are so many vans for sale, owners moving out !!!! You may like holiday makers, but owners are always there.

We have just come back from Richmond. Van lovely, entertainment better than last year, but please, please Richmond get a chef who can COOK. The peas like like bullets again, chips very very white, undercooked, and chewy. Any one can cook chips, obviously the fat they were fried in wasn't hot enough!  Every year it's the same and you have the nerve to call it a restrurant. Not many people eat there, very noticable how many people buy chips from the chip shop and eat them in the club. Get your finger out and employ a COOK, or bring back the cafe.

the caravan we hired was a richmond owed we booked a silver static i very disapointed there was no vacuum cleaner to clean the carpet all there was is a broom small brush and pan the carpet was stained the toilet and shower area was not to my standards maldew in the shower the double bed was uncomfatable gave me and the wife a bad back.the site has gone down hill in the last few years we used to love going every year . entertainment for the children has dropped aswell same every night .they used to have money vouchers for the children when they won fancy dress all they get now is a bag of horibos.i don’t think i will use there caravans again allmost £500 the ones people rent out are better standard

im a 28 year old YOUNG man and have been going to richmond since i was 6 years old me and my sister used to go with my great aunt and uncle till we was about 13 now my sister has kids so we go to richmond every year trying to do the same for my nephews as what we enjoyed when we was younger ...... nothing has changed at richmond since i was a kid great loacation great staff i just love going back to reminice im going back there in 3 weeks and im just as excited as i was when i was a little one .... if you ask my oldest nephew [3] where we are going he reples SKEGGY !!! reminds me so much of me .... we will do the same roting every day vine walk then onto the cafe then a stroll along the beach .... really cant say enough for this site the entertainment can be a bit dyer t times but come on its a uk old styled caravan park trying to keep its tradition thats what makes it so good !!!

give it a go you wont be dissapointed

Our first stay at Skegness we stopped at Richmond holiday centre. We traveled by train from Birmingham with a two year old child and another older one. Very easy and straight forward to travel station is at the end of the road 10 minute walk. The on site shop has the essentials, very friendly staff. Caravan was very comfortable. Was a short walk into town centre and to the beach. Our two year old daughter managed to walk everywhere. 24 hour Tesco a short walk away. Site was very well kept and quiet. Both kids loved the on site arcade. We did go to the chip shop on site, staff were again friendly, chips tasted better than they looked, wouldn't go back again though and did put us off from trying the restaurant. We plan to go back again next year for a long week. Would definitely recommended, lots to do.

Camp Colditz

Steer clear if you want a good holiday….first night in club oldedst daugter who is 19 had been drinking and buying drinks all night with her UK citizen ID and at about 10.30pm a doorman pulled her while she was sat with us and tried telling us that her id was not valid…what a load of SHxt….next day i used the swimming baths and got a nice hot shower after…..then next day went back for a swim again and went to use the shower after and it was like they had turned the hot water down to a trickle….
We only used the clubhouse once after the ID incident and in all fairness we were roasted because of the lack of aircon…..not very
good at all…..missus wanted to do aqua-areobics which was advertised and we were told it was cancelled till the end of summer.

One last thing when i asked a caravan owner who was in the baths on the sunday when they turned the hot water down he said in his own words “This is the worst season we have had since being on the site.

Do yourself a favour go to Butlins or Haven if they have one ….Both beat this RUBBISH site hands down.

This is a large family owned caravan park. It has a swimming pool attached to it with a sauna and steam room which you have to pay extra for. There are 2 separate bars, a resturant, a arcade, small shop, chippy, hair salon, chiropodist & alternative therapies surgery. The caravans are kept very clean and have their own alarm system. Entertainment is provided each evening.
