A light & airy renovation - this pub manages to retain some of its old charm, but updated with some contemporary touches. So what you get is a clean, modern feel but at the same time you know you're in a pub with a past. Its a pub/restaurant (dare I say gastropub) so you can eat at any of the tables. Good varied menu, with seafood, salads, pies & fish/chips. I had whitebait with rocket salad and my friend had chicken caesar salad. Both were more than respectable. Not too bad on price either. Fuller's beers behind the bar. Staff & Service OK.
