Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum & Shop

I actually had no idea that there was a museum in Wimbledon when I went hee to see the tennis a couple of years ago.I actually found it by accident so myself and my dad decided to go in for a look.To be honest I wasn’t expecting much as you have to get a lift up to it so I thought it was going to be tiny and just lots of reading but it wasn’t at all.They have lots of memoribilia from years ago,even what women playing tennis wore in the 1800’s…..all the way to present day.They have lots of games you can play along with,like testing your reaction speed,watch any clip from any tennis match by just selecting it,a virtual dressing room with a virtual john macenroe….and of course the all important trophies!!The hop has alot of what you’d expect with wimbledon written on it,but it is very expensive.The majority of items are very overpriced but overall a great visit.
