Great for music but also great for Breakfast! The waiters here are useless but the food is really good (particularly after working up an appetite shopping in the market).

Anyone famous ever played here?

I went to see Ruarri Joseph here and it was fab. Really chilled, cool venue and look as if if would be cool to eat there too.
I am a singer myself and my aim is to perform there within the next 6 months!!

A great little music venue adjoining Spitalfields market. Its upstairs above a bistro, bar & art gallery and can accomodate about 100-200 people. Obviously due to the size, it hosts mainly up & coming artists, but you get the odd relatively successful (such as Beth Orton & John Power, former frontman of the LAs). The bar is great too - always buzzing & busy and a nice alternative to the city bars nearby. Attracts an artistic crowd, given the art gallery & closeness of the market stalls of Spitalfields.

Sadly Spitz has to move out of its current location and needs monetary support to secure a new home. If you know the venue & want to assist, visit their website for more info.
