dont agree at all with king 1s comments.We go there every day for lunch and they are fantastic.coffee is good .never heard any swearing .no smells except nice food smells.the place is soon to be repainted I believe.Jose the owner is a really nice guy and his staff are very good and fast

We've visited almost every cafeteria/restaurant in Llandudno and have no hesitation in recommending Cafe Orient Express as the best overall for quality and value for money. Certainly the best and cheapest coffee in town. When we stayed in Conway this summer we travelled to Llandudno just to enjoy their stunning (and economical) breakfasts. Excellent quality and less pricey than most restaurants in town with brilliant, friendly service and immaculate premises.

We had a lovely meal in the Cafe Orient Express during our recent holiday to Wales. I can honestly say the cafe, staff and food were all excellent. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere and it was extremely busy whilst we were there. As soon as a table was vacated, it was soon filled again. Our order was freshly prepared and brought to our table very quickly. The guy who looked after us while we were there (Gianni, I think) was very polite and efficient. He was also extremely handsome, making our visit there even more enjoyable!!!!
I would definitely recommend the Cafe Orient Express to anyone and the next time I’m in Llandudno, I will definitely pay another visit!

I cant believe the review I read about this cafe. I go there with my elderly mum for lunch on a regular basis and the Italian owner, who speaks perfect English, is kindness itself. The waiting staff do appear to be learning English but we have never had a misunderstanding and they are always well turned out. The place is clean, tidy and pleasant to visit.
Prices are amazing - I don't know how they do it for the money.

Dont agree with king1.orient express is a really nice cafe inside .food is superb and jose the owner is rerally nice guy.the staff are mixed nationalities but fast and courteous.The exterior is due to be repainted but who cares when the place is so good.prices are cheaper than anywhere else in town andyet coffees and food are excellent.staff are well dressed too

Well what can i say! None of the waiters or waitresses can speak english and are very messy in apperance. The outside sign atop of the premisis is so tatty and delapidated that it puts you of going inside. Cramped tables and horrible microwaved out of date food. Been there three times on holiday and was ill three times after. I would really prefer cafe 101 of nineteen as at least they had some kind of atmosphere and say please and thankyou when required. Definatly not a family place with all the swearing and as if this wasn't bad enough there was a smell of raw sewerage wafting from the back of the resturant. I am sorry but this place was terrible.

Steve-Dee, 5 September 2012:I just cannot believe this comment by King1. We discovered this place while on holiday in June 2012 and eat there nearly every day for three weeks. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks – all perfect, fresh and as for the staff (and the owners Emrah & Ramsay) they were immaculate, spoke perfect english and made us very very welcome each time we arrived. We recommended the place to all our family who were in the country for a wedding and every one applauded their excellence!
