Consistently good place for late breakfast or lunch. Sandwiches and coffee sitting by the Singel is a really nice way to spend a weekend late morning meal. Services is efficient and good.
Wonderful little cafe with huge sandwiches and nice coffees. They do speak English and have menus available in English (as does the majority of Amsterdam), so dont feel shy about entering a place for locals. Sometimes it's nice to feel like you're not a tourist!
Great sandwiches and lovely service. For Amsterdam you have very reasonably pricing here. Try the daily fresh homemade cakes! In the summertime they have a nice terrace but beware of the pigeons.
This is the typical down-to-earth Dutch lunch cafe, with unpretentious decor, rather slow but friendly service, and a huge choice of great sandwiches.
There isn't much room, so the tables fill up predictably quickly, given the handy location.
