Motel One Berlin Mitte

Not really in the area I regard as Mitte, it is in fact just on the west side of where the Berlin Wall was, this is a cosy and friendly hotel, after a slightly long check in. I particularly liked the luxury sink in my room, although my memory fails me as to precisely why I would single it out for special praise. Slept well (not in the sink).

I was less fond of the local area. The nearest station was under a roundabout. Kind of like Old Street, except that it makes Old Street station appear like St Pancras in comparison!

I've stayed here twice by now. I think the hotel is absolutely OK, price-value ratio is, too. The rooms are clean and modernly decorated. There is flatscreen TV. The sink in the sleeping area takes some getting used to but it didn't really bother me. You may park for free in the nearby streets. You're about 10-15min walk from the city centre, also the underground and bus leave from nearby. There's also a taxi rank just opposite the hotel. I think the WLAN-access is expensive at 4 Euro per hour. Thanks to my UTMT-stick I can access the net a lot cheaper though. It's noticeable that there's no telephone in the room. I would stay there again anytime.

I just stayed the first night in the Motel ONE in the Prinzenstr. 40, 10969 Berlin. First result: nice personnel, nice ambience for anyone who likes it tidy and well-arranged. Everything is in place, W-Lan available at a charge. The rooms are clean, appropriate in size and well furnished. At 57€ per night without breakfast it's an appropriate price. Right next to the entrance you'll find the metro station Moritzplatz which gets you into any other district of Berlin.

Great price/value ratio!!! Double room 77 € including breakfast for two people! A pretty, small motel which simply is great! It is furnished with style and is affordable. The rooms are small but cosy. Details are very important here. Friendly and young service! The lounge of the Motel One is one space for all: bar, restaurant, reception and breakfast room! Great solution for a small area! The breakfast buffet was presented with care and tasty. Bread rools, jam in jars, eggs, fresh fruit, nutella, cold cuts, cheese, juice and coffee. I'd like to come back, although I'll take the Motel am Alex then as the location is more beautiful...
