Fairly impressed. Menu not that amazing, but I got what I went for. Crab Saag, served in a crab shell. Very nice indeed.
Everything else seemed standard.
Did well to seat us very quickly.

Was at the Ship pub up the road and we started to get peckish around 11pm, and someone suggested that we try this place as it has a pretty good repuation.
Now, if I’m honest, we had been drinking for quite a while that day so dont excpect this to be a considered review of the Pal of Goa’s menu - far from it. But I can say that what we did try (I think maybe mine had lamb in it?) did the job very nicely and no one had any complaints at our tabel.
I’ll have to go back when I’m, er, not quite as 'tired and emotional’ and eperience it properly.

Haven’t been here for a while, but it used to do excellent Goan cuisine - things like fish curry, saag crab and pumpkin curry, alongside the usual curry standards. Nice decor and atmosphere, reasonably priced as well, I think. Worth visiting if you are a fan of seafood curries or want to try something different from the usual boring chicken tikka et al.
