What can I say…after a spontaneous walk down to my parents local pub the Owl….. Blown away doesn’t seem anywhere close to how I can describe my visit on Easter Saturday. Gina, Scott and all her family and staff are simply outstanding hosts. Their effort and attention to detail and caring attitude makes you feel like you are part of the family ….Such a great pub, with great staff and the food….well…where do I start….Back today for their Carvery, which may parents tell me is the best they have ever tasted!!!! many thanks to you all…..What a great job…. Xx xx Nichola, Edward and Finlay xx
this pub really need a mention. Gina and staff are the most wonderful people we know, kind and caring and take an interest in everybody. They make everybody welcome with a smile. Sunday carvery is the best ever, all freshly cooked, also the meals during the week are fantastic value for money. Beer is good also (This is a CAMRA PUB) If you have not visited yet, please do and you will be back for more.C&J.

For the first time we had Sunday lunch at the pub today. It was a lovely meal and my parents commented it was better than roast dinners from some of the pubs in the town where they live. So will defo be back again!

Amazing Pub run by a good hardworking team. Fantastic food and a wide selection of well kept beers. Live music nights on a weekend always a good laugh. Check their website for listings

A Lively pub with a very good selection of real ales. It was voted the most improved pub in Leeds by CAMRA in 2008.
The pub has A Lounge and Public Bar and a decent sized Dining / Music area. There is seating outdoors and a children’s play area.
The current weekly activities are:
Monday: Jam Night
Thursday: Poker Night
Thursday: Quiz Night
Friday: Live Music
Saturday: Live Music
Sunday: Carvery
