1 review of Yokozuna Café in English
Yokozuna is a small cafe in the schanze area... a bit off of the schulterblatt.
I went there on Saturday after a long day at the outdoors pool and i needed a bit of private space.
I didnt want to go to schulterblatt where i was sure not to find place and be stuck on a table with other people
the weidenallee is a very good alternative to the schulterblatt!
Yokozuna doesnt have a wide choice on its menu. It offers sandwiches either in toast bread or in ciabatta, pizzas (which you can customize) and cakes.
You can get beer and soft drinks.
It was the perfect cafe, the perfect meal for the hottest july day since 1941.
I would probably be back for breakfast some day, since its served till 2 pm, and grab another of their delicious sandwiches.
and i'm on a quest to try other restaurants/cafe on the weidenallee. I do need a break from the schulterblatt! :D

Nobody needs a break from the Schulterblatt!
dont get me wrong i LOVE the schulterblatt, but sometimes on a hot sunny day, with people everywhere, and no place to sit and just enjoy a drink without having them elbow you... then it would be cool to at least have another option!
That was probably my elbow... sorry!
