Amongst the large chain of Ask Restaurants my local ASK in Brighton is in a higher league. The building which feels like a large luxury home is split into rooms with modern, clean, decor. The Italian food is great with delicious specials always and a wide variety of salads, pastas, pizzas and fish dishes. In the summer you can enjoy sitting out in the small garden area with the help of outdoor heaters. The food is always cooked to perfection and is reasonably priced. Even if you don’t do starters i recommend you indulge in as many courses as you can here. Great food and great location.

Good pizza restaurant - good food, good staff, good ambience. I’ve been there about fifteen times since it opened in around 1997 and never really been disappointed.
Only one less-than-good experience, from several years ago, was when I told a waitress I didn’t want the ice that she’d put in my brandy. She took it away, and after she brought me back an ice-free brandy I could smell nail varnish in it. Obviously she’d not wanted to waste time or expensive brandy, and must have simply scooped the ice out with her fingers. However, that was many years ago, and was just a slight aberration. Apart from that I’ve always had great, personable service.
The outside seating area is fantastic in summer.
