Truly lovely very special cafe. My wife and I love this place. The coffe and cakes are fab and the flowers wonderful. Great little place to relax with the papers or sit and chat.

We love this place, the coffee they do is amazing, and we’re always drooling over the cakes and cupcakes they do. Apart from the theme and decor which are a big talking point, I like the fact that they support the local neighbourhood in the various events that happen through the year like festivals, fundraisers and such.
I recommend you go early on a Saturday or Sunday morning and sit on the top terrace, with a cup of coffee and toast. The sandwiches are quite yummy too and my favourite is the feta one. They also serve soup of the day and have an array of different conserves and biscuits that make really cute gifts.
A really down to earth community feel little shop. Five stars.

I'd much rather buy flowers here than in the other local flower shops.
I bought the best bunch of spectacularly coloured Chrysanthemums here which lasted four weeks.
I've not eaten or drunk here, but must do one day to get my sense of well being back.

Wonderfully eccentric local cafe. Great place for tea, coffee or a light lunch. And the flowers are unusual in a good way too.

I'm lucky to have this cafe / florists / gift shop on my doorstep. Only recently did I realise that there's a funky little seating area upstairs, with mis-matched furniture, retro decor and vintage teacups all adding to its shabby chic charm. The food and drink are pretty standard prices, but some of the gifts can be quite pricey.

Fantastic cake and tea or coffee served in a flower shop where the owners really have a great sense of kitsch ... the staff are friendly and helpful, and the cakes are absolutely heavenly, and all served among the smell of fresh cut roses. A real gem of a place.

Gorgeous place, a really find with shabby-chic mismatched vintage crockery, ginormous meringues, chintzy tea pots and an upstairs lounge with huge windows. Divine when it's sunny, and even when it's dismal outside this place still manages to feel cosy and comfortable. The food isn't cheap, but it is delicious, and the staff are warm and friendly. Heaven on a Sunday with the papers, a pot of tea and a slab of cake or two!

Lovely tea and real coffee shop in a quiet spot.
The decor is shabby chic/ cluttered with colourful 40s? 50s? 60s? 70s? decor. The first floor has an outdoor roof seating area which is very pleasant in summer. There are community notices in the window.
The cakes and slices are in keeping with the decor with bright pink iced cakes, lemon drizzle cake and the like. Their choc chip and almond cookies are pretty good. The have soy milk though - hurrah!!
Pleasant staff.
Great value.

This place is stunning! I’ve never been to Hither Green before, but this wonderful little cafe is doing enough to get me back there with the next couple of days. It really is the most perfect little cafe. Like someone jumped into my head, found out what my perfect cafe would look like and then put it just fifteen minutes from me house.
It’s not just a tea shop, it’s a little art gallery, it’s a florist! It’s a vintage nik nak shop! It’s perfect.
And back to that tea. Served in wonderful vintage tea pots with little matching cups, and not at all expensive - £1.40 for a pot of tea! Yay! The sandwiches were yummy. I had a gorgeous ham and pickle one which was about four pounds. Its not a little sandwich though, and while the pickle wasn’t to my taste, I really liked the sandwich. Excellent fresh bread too.
I came here with a friend who lives in ladywell - neither of us had been before, but we stayed for two hours, chatting, reading the books and drinking more tea. And eating cupcakes too! The range of cakes is brilliant. I defy you not to eat one.
This place is one stop from Lewisham so it’s actually very easy to get to, but hopefully, none of you will visit too often, so when i go I’ll still be able to get a table by the window. I might treat this as my new weekly teashop. It’s heaven in a teapot.

I’d heard so many good things about this place and finally found myself there on a wet Sunday - it’s bliss! Amazing coffee, hot chocolate with marshmallows for the kids - though I don’t recommend you stay in with toddlers - it’s a mecca for grabby children. Shabby chic decor, it feels like you’re in someone’s living room. There’s such an eclectic mix of flowers, gewgaws, vintage treasures - all for sale. I also highly recommend the cakes - we had a big slab of white chocolate and vanilla cake for the grown ups and huge flapjack for the kids. It’s an experience in itself and a truly wonderful local business. Try it!

wow. quaint and ecclectic, sparkly and shabby chic to the hilt.
enjoy eating your cake and pointing to the decor and furnishings, and say 'oh my nan used to have one of them tables circa 1940’
The cakes are amazing and the service is very friendly. Hither green is a lovely little corner of a gritty part of south london, and given that I dont do south of the river, I’d travel over and endure the nose bleeds for the raspberry and almond cake.

Thank heavens for You Don’t Bring Me Flowers.
It’s true that no one brings me flowers – but frankly I wouldn’t want anyone to deprive me of the privilege, when a visit to this little florist come coffee shop come pretty-things emporium is such an incredible delight.
Prettily miniature in size, ‘Flowers consists of a little window for sitting and gossiping, a marvellous display of beautiful blooms, a counter laden with cakey goodness, some divine little tables towards the back and an upstairs room, complete with tiny terrace. Every single little corner is a dream and a masterpiece – no more can be described, a visit is due.
Sample the best-in-a-very-very-large-radius coffee, nibble the cakes, grab a croissant if you’re an early bird, have a sandwich, sip some soup – heck stay there all day if you have to, I am yet to find something I don’t like about this place. Sigh.
