One star because I had to give one to publish my comment…
Although in a central location very close to Paddington Station and on the first view an acceptable hotel, it’s the most horrible place I ever stayed at in London!
Not only does the proprietress obviously commit tax fraud (which might be the reason why this hotel is comparably cheap), she also insults her guests with racist prejudices and verbally attacs them with swear words when she is in a bad mood.
Most of her staff is illicitly employed, the place is dirty and sanitary facilities are unhygienic.
Breakfast is simple and good but likewise of doubtful hygienic standard.
Absolutely not recommandable!!
