Vidal Sassoon

Aran is the best colourist i have ever used.

I trust him totally, so sometimes he gives me crazy colours- electric blue or pink panels, other times just a classic chocolatey brown- but always a great colour against my skin, lasts well, and looks shiny.

Not only is he technically fantastic, but he's the first hairdresser i've ever known who can have a normal conversation, that isn't about fashion or the weather or our next holiday.

My friend used to work at this salon so I used to go here to get my free haircuts quite a lot.

It's a nice little salon but it's always really busy (which I guess you could see as a good thing). They use this as one of their main training places and due to it's location the prices are pretty steep if you don't have a friend who works here!

Unless you live in the area, I wouldn't recommend trekking across London to get your hair done here. It is a bit 'Chelsea' in there and the stylists have got used to coiffing rich housewives 'dos so there isn't as much creativity here as you might find in some of the other salons..
