Outstanding value for money. What more can I say! £7.45 for a two course lunch (add an extra £1.95 for a third course), and the food is of excellent quality.

Daniel’s Bistro serves French cuisine. Being vegetarian, I opted for the warmed avocado on a red pepper and tomato sauce and topped with Brie as a starter (heavenly!), Savoury Bread and Butter Pudding with mushrooms, onions and spinach as a main course (second time I’ve had this…and I’d readily eat it again next time too), and a light fluffy soft meringue island in a pool of 'Creme Anglaise’ for dessert (mmmm).

The service was outstanding too. The restaurant was very accommodating for a group booking - there were around 15 of us in total, however the numbers had fluctuated prior to the event itself, and the restaurant had no problem with this. The staff were friendly, polite and the service couldn’t be faulted. Even when a couple of our guests turned up rather late (whilst the rest of us were already on our starters), they were served their starters immediately so they were up to speed with the rest of the party.
