I was alone in Liverpool for work and I was looking for somewhere nice to have dinner. I qyped it and end it up having a nice evening. Yes, the whole thing is a bit of a show and it is probably the closest taste of Japan you can get being in Liverpool. It is very convivial and I was lucky to sit with very nice people. The food isn’t cheap but the quality is good and you get a great entertainment evening.
I only had the mains and this is more than enough!!

My friend has been here a few times and kept mentioning it, so when she suggested we go for her birthday I was really up for it.

The food was good, if overpowering in portion size, you don’t need anymore than the main course as it comes with potatoes (I know not very Japanese eh) veg and rice. Me and my boyfriend shared two starters, I was full after them so kinda tainted my view of the main course. But was really nice and well cooked.

The chef we had was good but to me it did seem a little like he’d been doing the same routine for years and just wanted to get it over and done with. That said he was very good with his knives and eggs etc.

Definitely a party restaurant and had loads of atmosphere.

Not cheap though, you do pay for the entertainment, but only fair due to the number of chefs to customers. Would probably go again but order much less.

A great evening for big groups, birthdays or celebrations of any kind. The Japanese style food is breathtaking, and the service is unique, the highly trained chefs perform tricks with knives and food! it makes for a entertaining meal as they cook it right in front of you. The food is well worth the money, a constant flow of rice and noodles and your choice of meat or fish. This place is one of the best i have been to.
