The Angels Share

Angels Share is great.

Right then, we've said that, now we can get to the nitty gritty...

I've been a few times, so that shows how good it is. The drinks and cocktails are good, and the staff know their drinks, but it is very pricey, thats my only complaint, and if it wasnt for that, then it'd get the full 5 stars.

The food is great, and surprisingly, not that expensive.

The layout of the place is cracking!

All in all. very very good.

I loves Angel's Share, I do. There's nothing lovelier than a nice evening on the Red Stripe in Chapel Appletown, that's what I say.

The staff are really friendly, and as Runcible points out, spot on at remembering you and what you ordered.

I love sitting outside under the big umbrellas and heaters, even in winter.

There is only one teensy thing that I don't find lovely about this place and that's that there's a mountainous trek to ge to the toilet. Unless I sneak into the disabled one. Which I do.

Nice enough bar in the popular area of Chapel Allerton in Leeds. Nothing much sets it apart from the other bars in Chapel Allerton but its nice enough. There is a restaurant upstairs which does really good food though is a bit noisy because of the bar downstairs.

I’ve visited the Angels Share as a gig venue on a Sunday evening. For an area that looks reasonably quiet it was surprisingly busy in here, as we arrived to set up our gear a lot of people were eating what looked to be very nice food.

The bar itself is very classy, glass fronted with a clean modern feel, attracting a clientele of the “young professional” type.

Great little place for an intimate gig, I believe they have something on most weekends.

Really nice bar/restaurant in an attractive part of Leeds. The bar can get very busy but even then the staff are remarkable at remembering what you order. I asked for about 8 different drinks and the guy got the order spot on!

Upstairs there’s a restaurant selling really nice and not very expensive food. It’s well worth a visit if you are in the area but be warned that it can get manic on evenings at weekend.

Great buildings , big glass frontage . Modern bar with good quality restaurant upstairs. Very busy at weekends .
