Toby Carvery

This is a great family friendly carvery with great staff and good food (lots of it!).  Its fantastic value for money.  Unlike another reviewer, I dont think Ive ever had to wait more than 2 minutes for a table, and that includes when we turn up in large numbers.

They do vegetarian options if you ask for them, and you do have to wait a little time for that, but no longer than you would in any other restaurant that cooked food to order.

Its a little more expensive than the other carvery in Wickford, but its still excellent value for money and in my opinion the best carvery in the Wickford area.

I love eating in this restaurant its such good value for money - carvery for £5. 3 choices of roast meat, loads of vegetables and proper homemade gravy. It is quite large with a lot of tables so service can be slow when it is busy which seems to be all of the time!
If you dont get there at opening times then you will generally have to wait for a table - I have often been told 20 minutes but have had to wait longer. But if you do stay then it is one of the best roast meals you can get. Unlike some other carverys the chef is very generous with his meat and the vegetables are always plentiful.
So good decent food at an amazingly low price - jsut get there early!
