This is a worthy addition to the glut of Celtic-orientated bars around this area. It benefits from friendly patrons (provided you are a Celtic supporter), excellent prices and a host of ocnic images which adorn the walls. Slightly lacking in history compared to the neighbouring Baird’s Bar, but nonetheless an integralpart of the Celtic pilgrimage.

Great wee pub on the Gallowgate across the road from from Bairds - terrific atmosphere - friendly bar staff and clientele. The beer and spirits are good and the prices are very reasonable. This one gets top marks in my book of Gallowgate hostelries. Any time I am down this neck of the woods ( which is becoming quite frequently I might add ) I make it a point to call in here for a few drinks and a bit of friendly banter.

Warm welcoming pub, extremely friendly characters. Very busy during Celtic football home games, traditional Irish music played. Great atmosphere. Drink is pretty cheaply priced, although at old firm games it is wise to come here early as when it is too busy the shutters go down. Respectable pub, rarely any trouble.
