This is an okay Mexican restaurant (sorry, I’m a bit biased as I grew up in Texas). There are better ones in London, but you could also do far worse. They are one of the only places I have found that do queso (melted cheese for dipping), so that was fantastic. The burritos were passable - nothing to write home about. The margaritas were also okay - mine was actually kinda sweet - like it didn’t have enough tequila in it.

I’d probably go back, but only because it’s close to where I live. There’s better out there, but if you’re not picky, you’ll enjoy it.

Café Sol is a Mexican restaurant / bar on Clapham High street. I've eaten here in the day and the usual Mexican menu was pretty good. At night they clear away the tables and it turns into a kind of disco. Its free to get in so it’s a good night if you're short on cash!

Cafe Sol is my favourite mexican restaurant in London, the food is always great, service fantastic. The cocktails are definately a must, this is a good resturant for large groups as they never seem to struggle with the numbers and we have never had problems with orders. Try not to have to many tequilas though !! My favourite dish is the mixed fajitas or the chimichanga

One of the better late night drinking spots in Clapham. The great thing about Cafe Sol is that it's free and it's no full of the infernos riff raff!

I recommend heading here when the pubs shut - It blows archway 365, vodka revolution and infernos out of the water.

Clapham's a bit short of late night (non-housey) dancing venues if like me you'd rather go home than endure the sticky floors of Infernos! This is why Cafe Sol is a winner - this mexican restaurant clears away the tables at 11, turns up the volume, and welcomes Claphamites (for free i might add) for a night of fun, cheesy dancing sans sticky floor!

The food is standard tex-mex but good. And the cocktails taste mighty fine too!
