I’m in Veg Heaven. I’ve scoured Berlin for a decent totally Vegan/Organic restaurant, and finally found one. Hans Wurst will be my second home during my stay in Berlin. It’s slightly more expensive than the usual pig swill German restaurants, but considering it’s organic and vegan, I think it’s extraordinarily cheap.

The staff are a bit arty (thank god) and the place has a minimalist feel about it, but softened by the comfy old style chairs and sofas. Definitely try the soups, they are TDF.

The a la carte dishes are very good, the type of meal you’d expect to pay double in an average restaurant.

Love the free WiFi.

DunckerStr is very close to the EberswalderStr U-Bahn and the 10 tram stop at HusemannStr.

I honestly cannot describe how much i enjoy dining at Hanswurst. The Food itself is wonderfull, delicious whilst being vegan. (You dont feel as though it is simply a attempt as being a resturant with ‘meat replacement’ or ‘fake meat’ dishes). I have taken many friends and family members who are non-vegan here and they have enjoyed the tastes and flavours more than non-vegan resturants in both Germany and London. Recently i went to Hans Wurst to have their ‘famous pizza’ which was truely amazing (without any discusting fake-cheese flavours).

The resturant itself is very modern and spacious, yet at the same time upholds a very comfertable atmosphere. The staff were helpfull and relaxed. The Price also very reasonable - for a three course meal and wine and tea for two people we payed just £31 (38 euro).

I recomend this to everyone. Vegan or non-vegan.
