We were just driving past on our way from Dublin to Sligo, and I’m so glad we stopped here. It is superbly beautiful. We had a lovely time walking around, and took lots of photos (see photo gallery). we had lunch in the visitors centre, and very nice it was too. We ate out on the deck, which looks out to the lake. There is tourist information and a gift shop in the visitors centre.
Parking was 4 Euros, and there are quite a few other attractions which have separate entrance fees
