Flora Danica

Loved it.
Great coffee, great service and moderate prices (cheaper than anything nearby). Service is good, they’re quick,polite and do speak english.
If you need to use a toilette,which is extremely clean ask waiters for direction or you’ll get lost.

I challenge anyone to try all the dishes and other things that Flora Danica lays out for their Sunday brunch (until 16:30)! So yes, it’s expensive (40 euros), but the buffet comes close to falling over with the amount of savoury food (salmon, and other fish, taramasalata, eggs, raw and cooked vegetables, salads, cheeses…) and sweet food (fruit salad, rice pudding on an exquisite Morello cherry coulis base, tarts, chocolate mousse…) with which it’s loaded, and which are accompanied by tea, coffee and fresh orange juice. Enormous, that’s all I’ll say!

'Flora Danica' is the non-Parisian coffee shop in the center of the Champs-Elysées. In simpler terms: the coffee shop is the exact opposite of what one would imagine a posh Parisian coffee shop to be; clean-cut and cold modern styling (aluminum and stone), ready-to-eat sandwiches, weak coffee and apathetic service. Not recommended.
